Scorpio Moons ask us to go deep. Venus in Cancer is reaching out to Saturn in Aries with a square. We bump up against a limit, a responsibility, or roadblock in our relating. Cancer is of home and security…being emotionally strong. Aries is of self and independence…having agency. In this square what we want (Venus) meets what we need to be mature about (Saturn).

RING THE BELL - The Libra Moon is traveling through the final decan of Venus’ daytime home. This place is represented by the Four of Swords…a time of rest and restoration, calm and contemplation. She will square Jupiter in Cancer asking for our discernment in what we value and where our energy is attuned.

The Libra Moon, following the square to Jupiter, goes into a long void until she opposes Chiron in Aries around 8pm. A good long time to rest and reflect if that is available to you. The Moon will enter Scorpio around 10pm and from there anything hidden makes a point to be seen.

We are four days out from the Full Blue Moon in Sagittarius. A rare occurrence. The Moon in her journey prepares us to get clear on a few things. Whatever your mission seeing the whole picture is key.

The Knight of Wands is all fire on their mission. Their passion lifts them up and on. This Knight doesn’t quite have a grip on their power yet. And the container for their fire is not quite stable. TAKEDOWN - The Moon is in Libra and she would like nothing better for us all to get along, to work it out. But she is having her own challenges with a square to her ruler, Venus in Cancer, and an opposition to Saturn in Aries. Saturn is not well resourced in Aries but is exalted in Libra. Sometimes squares and oppositions lead us to discover things about ourselves that we might not otherwise.

The Gemini Sun and Mars in Ta**us remain in conversation with Pluto Rx in Aquarius. Feels like frustration maybe or going in the out door instead of the in door. You need to shift…and perhaps you are in resistance or insistence 😬 that your way can work. Ummmm nope. Pluto wins baby. Just put the dang thing down. Done. Over.

I have pulled The Tower for several days in a row now. Privately and in meetups with other healers. Every dang day. There is something here for me too. What am I holding on to? A way of being? A way of relating? An old old old story? Hmmm, yeah, all of that. It’s become an obstacle. I am in my own way.

The Emperor loves to have it all his own. I say, you do. Solidly in charge, in agency, sovereignty. When it comes to this card I generally see it as a guide to agency but perhaps today it is more like what am I insisting on…where can I not see the change that is needed?

OBSTACLE UP AHEAD - Happy Moon Day! The Moon will shift from Virgo to Libra around 11:30, changing our inner landscape from grounded earth to active air, from mutable to cardinal, and yin to yang. We are ready to initiate, look at the start of something, and give it some fuel to ignite. Lots of fire and air in the cosmos.

The Libra Moon will trine Uranus, the Sun, and Mercury in Gemini. This is a harmonious aspect and generally happens all on its own. It might look like your interactions with others are lightening fast, flowing smoothly. She will oppose Neptune in Aries too. Relating has a foggy quality.

The Gemini Sun is squaring the nodes of the moon today…squares require some action or re-direction. The Sun is in a mutable sign as are the nodes…south node in Virgo and north node in Pisces. Air. CHIPPING AWAY - Good morning sweet people…it is Saturday, Saturn’s Day. There are things to do. Things we are responsible for. Saturn is devotion to your goal, your dream.

The Moon moved into Virgo quite early this morning. If you were up through the night you might have seen the Moon in her first quarter phase 🌓 with Venus and Jupiter close by. When nights are clear the star display is fabulous!

The Virgo Moon against the Gemini Sun can have the affect of slowing the mind movement. Virgo is an earth sign. A sign of order and discernment…we need this, not that. Gemini collects. Virgo sorts.

The Virgo Moon is sitting with the South Node. There may be some nostalgia for the way things were. Remember two, three, maybe four years ago when we thought ahhhh getting back to normal. Could be that ship has sailed.

The cards remind us that there is always a bright side to most situations, not as bypassing but as a way of sourcing possible solutions. This is The Sun card. I shine because that’s my job.

The Eight of Pentacles from the Virgo decans reminds us that we have the ability to see a task through chipping away despite obstacles, challenges, or setbacks. The more I practice, the more I see, the more I learn what works and what doesn’t.

We have been zooming along for a few days now, maybe a few weeks. We hit the pothole or the detour today. Best to slow down and consider next steps. Maybe a walk to clear the head. Then start chipping away again. ✨

REVELATION - The Leo Moon is quiet in the sky. She went void (no aspects) yesterday evening at around 7pm and won’t aspect another planetary body until after midnight tonight. This is a long void meant for reflection, quiet, even some solitude if you can get it.

The Leo Moon stands quiet while the activity in the cosmos is focused on Uranus and the Sun. They come together in conjunction just after 11am today. When a planet is conjunct the Sun we call this a cazimi…it means in the heart of the Sun. A new cycle between them begins. It can also mean for us here on Earth that something new begins in our Gemini house. And because the Great Awakener is involved this can mean that the “new” can begin in a surprising or unexpected way.

Not to be outdone, Venus (it’s her day after all), is forming a square from Cancer to Neptune in Aries. What passions are alive in you? They become extra today and could present as spiritual devotion. It could feel a little delulu.

The cards bring in solar fire…so much yellow light! The Nine of Pentacles asks do you love what you have built? The Fools asks what alternate horizon is calling your name? And the Strength card asks do you have faith in your own authenticity?

The character in the Nine of Pentacles is proud of what they have accomplished. They used their skills and resources to build this life. Trusting in yourself at this time, believing in your abilities, and celebrating the success so far builds a strong foundation from which to build the next version of you.

The Fool guides with curiosity. What is over there? Move beyond self-doubt and fear of failure….and you will find a journey that is richer, more rewarding. Place your faith in yourself and in the Universe - together.

GET CURIOUS - Another sunny day here in the Cape. Another solar day. Glorious to see and feel the Sun these days. Makes winter almost worthwhile 😉

The Moon is in Leo and we can feel the outward giving of our generosity. We can feel radiant and have a need to be seen, appreciated, and loved for we are…just as we are.

The Leo Moon is getting to it first thing. Reaching out to the planets in other fire places…trining Neptune & Saturn in Aries. Agreements with the air places….Uranus, Mercury and the Sun in Gemini. One air place though opposes…Pluto Rx in Aquarius (this is a fixed air place). And one other fixed place…fixed earth where Mars is will get the square.

We are moving and shaking ping ping ping but what lies underneath? Our water places where Venus and Jupiter float in Cancer. We may feel all fire and air wanting to move and shake. We may want to hurry things along…this and this and this. It’s Gemini season after all.

And all the while we are experiencing the electricity of the Sun, Mercury, and Uranus in Gemini…firing on all cylinders…there is an undercurrent of water moving through us. What does it ask from us?

The cards say to get curious about how it grows and how it glows. The Empress cares, deeply. Are you growing into who you want to be? Are you looking after yourself? During Gemini season the spirits of our minds can be loud. We can forget we have a body to consider.

SOLAR REMEMBRANCE - Another shift in our skies today. The Sun, the giant ball of fire, enters the zodiac sign of the twins…Gemini. Mutable air. Yang. Where two things can be true at once. Where the air energy is alive, active. We are seeking out others, seeking new information to share, and seeking sunny spots to wander in our minds.

The Moon is in Cancer and moves into Leo (Sun ruled) a couple of hours after the Sun hops into Gemini. Fixed fire. Yang. Outward shine. The Leo Moon and the Gemini Sun form a sextile, a high five 🙌 in the sky. Fire and air. Give ‘er!

Gemini season is the final month of the Spring trifecta. And as a mutable sign we start to see the temps rise, the light stay around, and we anticipate the Summer months up ahead.

The cards know how we feel. There’s The Chariot, the Cancer card…Summer begins in Cancer. And the Six of Cups…a card from the Fall when Summer is all but gone and we remember.

The Chariot wonders what motivates you. What willpower do you have to keep going? Does your mind and your heart work together? The Chariot is focused and moving in a forward direction. This card represents knowing where you want to go and throwing all you got behind that endeavour.

The Six of Cups brings nostalgia to the forefront. We can recall Summers of the past…perhaps those of your childhood. Way back when you ran free…ollie oxen free! And also rootedness…rooted to your belonging. To your family, to your communities, to your friends, and to yourself.

When The Chariot and the Six of Cups mix it up together we remember what it takes and what it has taken to be who we are. And in the looking backwards we can sometimes feel a little tender. Maybe those roots weren’t what we thought. Can we imagine new roots, new ways?

As the Sun comes into Gemini and Spring mixes it up with Summer’s beginning maybe we can imagine a new beginning for us too. Bringing in the best of us and mixing it with our best intentions. ✨
