This morning, as I pushed through waist-high snow to carve a path to my studio, the symbolism felt impossible to ignore... For weeks now, I have been digging, clearing, and then clearing again, using my muscles and breath to open a way forward through the cold, heavy drifts... Each shovelful is my effort made visible as I create a pathway where none existed before....

At the same time, I have been shovelling energetically and shaping my spiritual practice into form so that others may walk the path I am clearing...

As I make the final edits to my living grimoire, the one I am calling The Magick Within, the parallel is undeniable...

The snow does not move itself, and neither does the inner work... Both ask for presence, strength, and patience...

Though I shovel alone, I know I am only able to do so because of every path I have walked before this one, and because of the people, lessons, and experiences that shaped me along the way.
Their footsteps are beneath mine, even if I cannot see them now...

By the end of my shovelling, I suspect there will be seven booklets... each one a cleared path of its own, waiting quietly for someone else to step onto it...

Been feeling a little weird lately… weirder than your usual flavour of strange? The phrase a swiftly tilting planet comes to mind...

Over the last few days, if you’ve felt off, unsettled, or like a stranger in your own body, you may be sensing the energetic shift of Uranus going direct in Ta**us. When a planet goes direct, it means that from our viewpoint on Earth, it stops appearing to move backward (retrograding) and resumes forward motion through the zodiac, a transition often felt as deep and sometimes intense integration.

Uranus, the bringer of the unexpected... and let’s be honest, the chaotic.... tends to stir up deeply rooted change. You might feel it as vertigo, instability, or like a kite snapping and fluttering in a fierce nor'easter wind.

The astrology of this past year has not-so-gently prepared us for personal tectonic shifts, and now those shifts are beginning to reveal themselves.

Open doors, while thrilling, can also feel terrifying... not because they are wrong or dangerous, but because they lead us away from the familiar comfort of well-worn patterns... reminder that when change feels comfortable and easy... it often means we are meeting a new face on the same old pattern... when it feels uncertain... it often means the change is something new...

So... if it feels like your world has tilted... it has. If it feels wild or unsteady... it is. Try reframing it as new territory unfolding and the release of old patterns...

Ground yourself, reconnect to what steadies you, and surrender to what is opening ahead... it holds more possibility than you ever imagined...
