You’ll find me in the office this summer:

Tuesdays 930am-2pm
Wednesdays 1-6pm

Additional Thursday hours coming September but until then, I’m going to keep soaking up my time with these cuties. My not-so-sure about boating daughter and my super keen fisherman who is already more brave handling fish than I am 😆

As a regulated, licensed Naturopathic Doctor, I am required to obtain a certain amount of Continuing Education (CE) training. These are pre-approved webinars, conferences, and workshops taught by experts in the field. This ensures NDs are up to date on the management and treatment of a variety of clinical conditions.

I thought I’d share some of my recent trainings + key takeaways.

Adult ADHD:
✔️ address common nutritional deficiencies that worsen and mimic symptoms of ADHD.
✔️ consider functional testing for defects in neurotransmitter pathways.
✔️rule out insulin resistance being underlying cause of neuroinflammation 🧠 🔥
✔️address microbiome and gut health. Inflammation from unfavourable bacteria in gut can trigger inflammation in the brain impacting behaviour.

This treatment approach is not intended to replace conventional care or be a standalone treatment. IMO the best clinical outcomes involve an integrative approach with a health team- each practitioner bringing their own qualified approach 💪🏼
