Mindful Yoga I have been practicing yoga and meditation for 20+ years with 200 YTT. Grateful to share my passion with others. Let's move, breathe, connect 💜

Yoga has allowed me to love myself and discover my true nature. I teach to all levels and bodies. My classes focus on breathing techniques to calm the nervous system, gentle movement and mindfulness techniques. Let's move together, and connect our mind, body and soul. The present moment is the most beautiful moment. Let your inner light shine.

Tonight we wrapped up our 5 week series and my heart is full 🫶

This practice offered strength, balance, yin, and deep rest; held in a warm yurt, with an amazing group of men.

I am so grateful for this space and this community.
I will be offering one more series starting March 9 for 3 weeks.

Everyday, I bundle up and step outside for 10–20 minutes.

I breathe in the cold fresh air. listen to the crunch of snow beneath my feet, and let my mind soften and clear.

Often, it’s in these moments of presence that I find inspiration. Whether it's an emotion or problem I’ve been holding onto, this is where I find clarity, calm and a sense of joy.

I invite you to try it. Sometimes clarity is waiting just outside the door🤍

What is getting you through these cold Winter days?

🌥Getting outside is non negotiable for me. Whether it's a short walk around the block or opening the door to breathe in the fresh air.

💃 Moving my body daily: yoga, resistance or weight training, dancing, walking. Just move your body, clear your head.

🫒Fuel your body with healthy foods. But give into cravings too.

✈️Make plans.. having something in the calendar to look forward to boosts the mood!

🌙 Spend time alone, in presence, connecting within. Yoga Nidra, always ✨️

🙏 Daily Gratitude practice.

💤 Rest without guilt. We are wintering and slowing down.

As I entered into my 40s, I found my way back to resistance training, alongside my daily yoga practice.

Now, as I approach my 50s in the coming years, I’ve welcomed heavier weights into my routine, and it’s been such an important part of keeping my bones strong and my body resilient.

Perimenopause has been its own chapter… a time of transition, awareness, and listening deeply to what my body needs. What I’ve learned is strength matters. Not just the inner strength we cultivate through breath, mindfulness, and meditation, but the physical strength that supports our bones, mobility, overall well-being.

Yoga has always been my anchor; calming my nervous system, supporting my mobility, and grounding me in presence. Incorporating weights has become an integral part of my journey as well.

If you’re navigating perimenopause or simply stepping into a new season of life, know that it’s never too late to start building strength and/or incorporating yoga into your life.

Your body is worthy of care, attention, and practices that support you through every chapter. 🤍✨

This time of year is tough. Cold days. Lack of sunlight (today's warm sun was amazing!) A quieter time for many.

Gratitude is a practice that has changed my way of thinking. It literally rewires your brain. It uplifts our mood, reduces stress, supports our mental health and so much more.

I had posted a story about while back about movement and dance.

This was me after an incredible 40 minute session of dancing. The light looks like the sun is shining down on me and I felt like pure joy 🌞

Dance often.
Movement is Medicine.
Sing your heart out.
Be free.
Take time for joy.
Love yourself.
