I'm a little late posting but our kiddos were SO excited for the snow! Seeing the love and excitement they had reminds me to be excited and open to change. Plus who doesn't love snow forts, sleding and hot chocolate !

This reminds me of something my grandma would say..."you can be angry or happy about the snow but it doesn't change how much snow you get" 🥰

So we spent 100 + hours in HARD labour to get our pumpkin patch planted. Ask any of our amazing friends that come and help out. Our bodies are SORE and ready for a break. As much as it would be easier and quicker to till the field and then plant. Long term it is detrimental for our land.

These are some of the reasons why ! Also the pumpkin patch land is still a living pasture in our cattle system. Grazing livestock on the land also helps to take care of the soil and feed those microbes.

As she said "let the soil do the work and that's where the real magic happen"
