𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔
Snow is expected today as a slow-moving system moves through the area, with up to 5 cm possible by midnight.

Staff are closely monitoring weather conditions, and plowing and salting operations will follow the City’s Winter Control Plan in priority sequence to clear the city’s extensive 1,400 lane kilometres. Residents can find out whether their property is on a red, blue, or green route by visiting Brantford.ca/FindMySnowRoute.

Residents are reminded to keep vehicles off the road where possible to allow crews to operate safely and efficiently. Please use caution around plows, keep your distance, and avoid passing.

Once the snow stops falling, the City activates a 24-hour clock, during which service requests to Operational Services are temporarily paused while crews focus on clean-up efforts. After a snow-free 24-hour period, Operational Services staff resume responding to individual concerns and service requests in priority order.

Learn more about what residents can expect during a snow event at Brantford.ca/WinterControl.
