๐Ÿซ Nature Babies Meet-Up | Friday, November 14

This week weโ€™re going on a little field trip! Weโ€™ll be visiting Stonyground Flower Farm in Prescott - home to chickens, ducks, two donkeys (Moose & Moe), a baby cow named Millie, and an alpaca named Diesel ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฆ™

๐Ÿ•™ Arrive anytime after 9:45am, farm tour begins at 10:00am. We will wrap up around 11:30am.
๐Ÿ“ Prescott, ON. Please message me or send an email (bluejaybotanicals@gmail.com) to receive the address.

๐ŸŒฟ Community meet-up for mothers, caregivers, and babies (0โ€“12 months)

Caitlin, who runs the farm, is welcoming us to meet her rescue animals and spend the morning learning about their care and what they get up to on her farm. She recommends baby wearing (if youโ€™re able) so you can be hands-free and able to interact with the animals.

What to Bring: weather-appropriate clothing, extra clothes, snacks + water, medication/EpiPen, and anything for comfort - blanket, hand & foot warmers, etc.

๐Ÿ‚ A Look Back at Our Last Meet-Up:
Even with the Halloween rain, we had an amazing turnout! We walked along the Prescott waterfront, then cozied up at the Outpost Cafรฉ where they opened their back room for us โ€” babies played, parents connected, and we enjoyed warm drinks and great conversation.

๐Ÿ‚ Nature Babies Meet-Up | Friday, October 31 โ˜”๏ธ

Itโ€™s calling for rain and Iโ€™m feeling the pull for a low-key morning so weโ€™re switching things up!

๐Ÿ“ Prescott Waterfront Trail (191 Water St. E) Find me where the Prescott Pop Ups are hosted (look for the colourful tiny cabins!)

๐Ÿ•š Arrive anytime after 9:45am - weโ€™ll start walking by 10:00am

โ˜•๏ธ After a short stroll, weโ€™ll head to Outpost Cafรฉ to cozy up with a hot drink while babies hang out

๐ŸŒฟ Free community meet-up for mothers, caregivers, and babies (0โ€“12 months)

โ˜”๏ธ Rain or shine, weโ€™ll make it work!

What to bring: Weather-appropriate clothing, extra clothes, snacks + water, baby carrier or stroller, medication/EpiPen. Comfort items: blanket, hand & foot warmers

๐Ÿ‚ A look back at our last meet-up:
We spent a gorgeous fall morning surrounded by golden leaves - wandered down the trail, set up a base spot, collected colourful leaf bouquets, and enjoyed each otherโ€™s company.

If you plan to join, drop a ๐ŸŒฑ or DM - it helps me get a sense of who to expect!

And if you know a local parent or caregiver who might love this, share this post with them! ๐Ÿ’ž

๐ŸŒฟ A look back at our last meet-up:
Our first morning together was such a beautiful start โ€” a cozy group gathered under the trees, sharing names, gratitude, and a nature-inspired song. Babies reached for the autumn floor, parents connected, and the air was full of warmth โ€” exactly what these mornings are meant to be.

Interested in a Nature Babies meet-up?

Hey mamas & caregivers in Brockville and area,

Iโ€™ve been dreaming of a space where we can gather with our babies, IN NATURE ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ‚ - a chance to play with our little ones, connect with each other, share the highs and lows, and simply have a reason to get outside together.

Iโ€™m thinking of starting a Nature Babies meet-up (0โ€“12 months) every other Friday morning. It would be drop-in, free, and outdoors in local parks and trails. Fresh air and community are good for us, and for our lil babes too.

This would start as a pilot program to see how it goes.

Would you be interested?

๐ŸŒณโ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŒˆ

About me: Iโ€™m Cherianne (she/her), a forest bathing guide, naturalist, outdoor educator, herbalist and new mom who loves creating opportunities for nature connection and community, right here in our local wild spaces.
