We are so excited to welcome Braeden as our Embracing Ability Ambassador !

Braeden is a 16-year-old with a big heart, a great sense of humor, and an even bigger love for soccer. Known for being funny, kind, and endlessly supportive, Braedy shows up for the people around him in ways that matter.

As an Ambassador for the Burlington Bayhawks Embracing Ability program, Braedy is passionate about spreading awareness that having special needs does not define limits or potential. He believes success looks different for everyone and that inclusion, kindness, and opportunity can change lives.

A true lover of people, Braedy leads with empathy, positivity, and determination both on and off the field, proving every day that ability comes in many forms.

Welcome to the Bayhawk team Braeden !!

We would like to thank everyone who attended our 2nd BSC Accessible Open House on January 10, at Sherwood Forest Park. What an incredible day filled with connection, movement, and community spirit!

A huge thank you to our sponsors, HURD Tomson Orthodontics and Burlington Pediatric Dentistry, for their generous support. Your sponsorship helped keep event costs low, allowing us to offer this experience free of charge to our community organizations—making inclusion even more accessible.

Thank you as well to our many partner organizations for joining us and for sharing our commitment to providing inclusive sport and recreation opportunities across the Burlington/Halton community. Together, we are building something truly meaningful.

We are incredibly grateful to our BSC staff and volunteers, who welcomed our guests, shared valuable information, and supported both structured activities and free play throughout the day. Your energy and dedication made a big difference.

And finally, thank you to all the families who attended. We hope you discovered something new and exciting in our community that inspires and engages your athlete.

Congratulations to Ali R who won a Gift Basket Prize pack – valued over $300. Thank you to our participating organizations and sponsors for generously donating items to our raffle.

If you would like to reach out to any of our participating organizations, please check out our event website here: https://burlingtonsoccer.com/2025-embracing-ability-open-house/

We are proud to work alongside so many like-minded organizations and individuals, and we look forward to continuing to grow an inclusive, supportive, and active Burlington community—together!
