BC has declared a provincial state of emergency in response to extreme, fast-moving wildfire activity. We’re ensuring we have rapid access to any tools we may need as the situation changes quickly.

We’ll continue using all available resources to protect people.

Please do not travel to the central Interior and southeastern BC for non-essential reasons. Give wildfire crews the space they need to keep us safe. If you must travel, stay alert to the rapidly changing situations at https://www.EmergencyInfoBC.gov.bc.ca and https://DriveBC.ca.

Be alert, listen to local officials and follow evacuation orders. We will get through this together.
