Important Changes to Fees for 2026. A few decisions to make note of:
1. I am now charging $10 more hourly for couple and family therapy, as well as mediation. Rationale - This work is very complex, I have advanced specialty and trainings in these areas, and relational work requires a great deal more from me cognitively and emotionally.
2. I am reducing the notice period for cancellations from 48 hours to 36 hours before cancellation fees kick in. Rationale - Appointment reminders from Jane don’t come until the 48 hour mark and apparently these can be very helpful reminders for cancelling appointments. Quite frankly, 48 hours felt too strict for me and since I’m bad at math, you can now freely cancel your appointment with as little as 37 hours notice.
3. Cancellations with 24 hours notice or less, and appointments missed without notice, will be subject to 100% of the session fee. No exceptions.
4. When you need to cancel, as much notice as possible remains greatly appreciated by me, and by clients who are often waiting for spaces to come up.
