Deb's journey with the Inside Out community over the past three years is nothing short of inspiring. At 61, she embodies the epitome of resilience and dedication to her well-being. Through consistent movement as part of her daily routine, Deb has undergone an incredible mind and body transformation! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ ๐Ÿง 

She attributes her unwavering commitment to the support and accountability provided by the Inside Out community. But what initially drew her in was not just the accountability, but the joy she found in the challenging yet enjoyable workouts. Now, Deb thrives on the feeling of getting stronger through her three days a week strength training regimen, complemented by daily walks, dancing, and outdoor adventures like cross-country skiing. ๐ŸŽฟ

Amidst the stressors of her work, Deb cherishes the workouts and the social connections within Inside Out, calling it her daily "therapy." Both her mental and physical health have never been better. Deb emphasizes the importance of consistency and finding a supportive community, especially in the early stages of building new habits.

It's important to learn about the basics of good nutrition, which includes lean proteins, healthy fats, and complex carbs.

TIPS:

Smoothies are an excellent and delicious way to get the essential nutrients our body needs at the start of each day.

Choose smoothie recipes that include plant-based protein, healthy fats, anti-oxidant-rich berries or other fruit you enjoy.

A plant-based bowl with cooked quinoa, mixed vegetables and avocado or a fillet of wild salmon with steamed greens.

Make your own dressings with tahini or olive oil and lemon juice.

๐ŸŸEat fish at least a few times per week - especially oily fish that are rich in healthy omega-3 essential fats.

The absolutely best way to ensure you're getting all the nutrients you need is to eat a wide variety of whole foods, prioritizing fruits and vegetables. Food should always come first as a source of nutrition!
