Today's batch cook for one of my post partum clients! 🍽👶

Here's what was on the menu:
➡️ Santa Monica Bowl: Black rice, mixed greens, tomato, blueberry and peanut balsamic dressing
➡️ Sweet Potato and Apple Tray Bake: Italian sausage, swiss chard, red onion, walnuts, honey mustard dressing
➡️ Green Curry Buddha Bowl: Coconut brown rice, steamed broccoli, cabbage, carrot, crispy tofu and green curry coconut sauce
➡️ Teriyaki Salmon Bowl: Basmati rice, teriyaki salmon, stir-fried baby bok choy, edamame, shredded carrot, pickled cucumber and nori
➡️ Lemon Coconut Energy Balls

Happy BBQ Season! 😎
BBQ's are some of the best cooking tools to add delicious chard flavour to meats and vegetables. I love cooking outside as much as possible in the spring and summer to keep my house cool.

Here, I am making some Korean BBQ glazed chicken thighs for a party I catered at a clients home. I love this recipe because there are tons of fresh vegetables and gut healthy ingredients to add like shredded carrots, cucumber and kimchi.

Mother's Day morning Blueberry Oat Pancakes!

These are an amazing brunch treat that are perfect for Sunday meal prep! Made with rolled oats, they are way higher in fiber than your traditional buttermilk pancake. The Banana and eggs lend moisture and structure to these making them extra filling.

Why are these so good?
🥚High in protein: The high egg content helps create satiety and buffer blood sugar throughout the day
🌾High in fiber: Rolled oats help keep things moving in our gut to promote our natural detoxification processes.
🍌🫐 Rich in prebiotics: Bananas and blueberries are great sources of fiber that nourish our healthy gut bacteria, boosting energy and immunity

GLUTEN FREE, VEGAN FOCCACIA BREAD!!!🍞

Oh my gosh, you guys!! This is the most delicious, fluffy focaccia with amazing crust and chew. I made this loaf for a party and tricked my friends (no allergy people) into thinking it was a normal wheat bread.

This recipe from is amazing! She has all of my favorite gluten-free, dairy-free baked good recipes. I highly recommend her cookbooks!

The loaf was soooo goooood dipped into a red wine pot roast, we devoured it all in one night. I absolutely love bringing the most lavish and humble meals back to the table for people with allergies and sensitivities to enjoy again. It's that season again! ✂️
Every 2 or so years I chop off 30cm of my hair and donate it to the so they can use it to make wigs for people going through treatment.

This year two of my grandparents have gotten cancer diagnosis. Even though I'm not able to have their surgery or take their chemo for them, I can keep them nourished and pass on what I can to others going through it too. 🥰 I highly encourage everyone to check out programs that the cancer society runs to support your loved ones in this fight.

This one is such a delicious dinner! It feels light and refreshing with crunchy vegetables like Napa cabbage, carrot, and bell pepper. The Tofu is extra chewy and full of flavour like garlic, ginger, chilli oil and soy sauce. Bring this light protein and vegetable-packed dish into your dinner menu variety.

✨Banana Beet Muffins!

These are a total kid favorite! They have an amazing spring back and chewy bounce which is often lacking in GF baked goods. These muffins are also dairy-free, and nut free making them great school snacks!

Made with only 7 ingredients these are so quick and easy to make!

➡Beets can help soothe an inflamed stomach: beets contain glutamine which is an amino acid that helps rebuild the mucosal lining in our digestive system. Anyone that experiences stomach ulcers or irritation from celiac disease will benefit from adding these to your diet.

➡Bananas boost our mood and give us energy: they contain chromium which enhances the effect if insulin in our body helping us convert glucose into energy. Bananas also boost serotonin levels which has been shown to help improve depression.

🌞Healthy Breakfast ideas!
I don't know about you but, finding something to eat in the morning that sounds delicious, easy to make and nourishes my body is sometimes too much to deal with first thing in the morning. Luckily I have created many recipes and techniques to make healthy grab-and-go breakfasts!

Here are some ideas to get you started:

🍳Vegetable Egg Frittata:
Ingredients: Egg, pepper, broccoli, bacon bits
-Chop veg, scramble eggs and pout into a hot cast iron pan. Bake at 400 for 15 min or until the center is cooked

🥜🍓PB and Berry Overnight Oats:
Ingredients: Rolled oat, yogurt, milk, natural chunky peanut butter, maple syrup, frozen berries, chia seed
-Combine 1 cup oat, 1 cup yogurt, 1/2 cup milk, 1/4 cup peanut butter, 2 Tbsp maple syrup, 1 cup frozen berries and 1 Tbsp chia seeds into a large bowl. pour the mixture into small containers or mason jars and set in the fridge overnight. These make a great grab-and-go breakfast!

There is nothing like a large bowl of warm, rich, and creamy smooth butter chicken with fluffy basmati rice to cheer you up from the winter blues.

I have made this recipe as close as you can get to authentic butter chicken without using any dairy products.
