o the tenacity it takes to recover from it. Women seek treatment from myself for two main reasons. First, I believe that a functional body simply works better. A body becomes functional once its inefficiencies and weaknesses are addressed. When an individual is assessed this way then treated with appropriate techniques and subsequently empowered with the tools to make their body functional, they are able to live, train, mom, wife and race to their potential. Recovery always starts with regaining function. The other reason is due to the variety of assessment and treatment options that are available;

Sleep and recovery are critical to endurance performance, especially in women’s sport.

I recently had the opportunity to collaborate with the  contributing to their Women’s Training Program, and the video drops today.

The focus: how sleep supports training, recovery, and overall performance in women.

Sleep is often treated as separate from training plans, but it directly influences endurance capacity, injury risk, and mental resilience.

Across both healthcare and performance settings, one principle consistently holds true: training provides the stimulus, but recovery drives adaptation.

Sleep supplements can be helpful. But! They work best when they’re supporting the right system.
