First and foremost, you should know that I am a professional member of the Handcrafted Bath & Body Guild and am currently enrolled in the Practical Herbalist 3-year diploma program with Wild Rose College of the Healing Arts. I am meticulous about formulating my products, so you can feel confident that I take your health & wellness and my product offerings seriously. I live in Calgary with my Aussie mix, Riley and my partner. I am a Usui Reiki & Violet Flame Reiki Practitioner and I offer Energy Alignment Sessions. I don't usually play by the book, so your Session will incorporate Akashic Records work and Reiki, but could also include different elements like crystals, essential oils or even runic energy (I work with the Elder Futhark Rune system) and Spirit Guide Channeling. We can discuss what you're looking to get out of your session and as I'm intuitively guided, I may ask you if it's OK to add any or all of these different energies into our work together.

​My best friend introduced me to Reiki several years ago. In the beginning, I was probably one of the largest skeptics you'll ever meet. She needed someone to practice on but I was not a believer. Even though I was skeptical, I agreed to that first session and life hasn't been the same since! For the first time in years, I slept for several nights without clenching my teeth. Not long after that, I took my first Reiki course and received my Master/Teacher certification in 2014 and I haven't stopped expanding my abilities and skills since. I am available to offer Reiki to your pets if they are experiencing issues. Having completed a comprehensive certificate program in Canine Behaviour and Handling through dogma Training and Pet Services, and with extensive experience dealing with many common canine behaviour challenges, I am uniquely qualified to offer this service. I'd love to help you on your journey or discuss any needs your pet may have; you may be just as surprised about Reiki as I was. I combine all of my modalities together in either 30-minute or 1-hour healing sessions, so you will get all that I have to offer no matter what. Certifications:

My Story

Julie Bousfield Usui & Violet Flame Reiki Master/Teacher; Canine Behaviour & Handling My name is Julie and I live in Calgary with my two dogs and my partner. I am a Usui Reiki Practitioner and I offer several types of Reiki treatments and am willing to travel to your home (I bring my portable massage table, within city limits) or you may come to my in-home Reiki space. I also perform distance healing as needed, and incorporate crystals and/or essential oils into your Reiki treatment if that is something you would like.​
