I kickboxed for years🥊
At the time, I thought I was just doing it to stay fit.
I showed up 4-5 times a week to hit, punch, and kick.
Sometimes I would hit the bags so hard others would say 𝘞𝘏𝘖𝘈!
In my head I was like YA...look at me go 💪🏻💪🏻
But now that I look back…
I realize that I needed a lot more support than this.
I was angry and I didn’t know how to release it.
I was emotional and didn't know how to let it out.
I was carrying weight that wasn't mine.
It almost felt like it was me against the world...and I was constantly losing.
So I kept showing up.

It looked like training...but it was really release.
Now I really understand what was actually happening.
Your body is always communicating with you.
And mine was asking to be heard...I just didn't know how to listen yet.
