Lots of nuggets in here I could identify with as a pet owner and an entrusting client of Castleridge Veterinary Clinic. Thank you so much for all the things you do in a day to take care of our babies.
A big Thank you to the whole team. 😍 my dogs and I have always appreciated you guys.Simply the best. Love Tony,Rohina,Kc,Lucky,Cookie & star.
They just love coming in to visit 🙂
Oliver wants you to like his page...! So you can see his updated pictures & videos...!
I would like to give a heartfelt thank you to all the ladies at the Castleridge Veterinary Clinic for their care and compassion shown to one of our senior guests yesterday. Your kindness in a difficult situation was so greatly appreciated. Thank you. ❤️
Wish I could give this place another 5 stars. My 4 year old daughter comes with us to most appointments for our dogs and cats. She wants to be a vet herself. Dr. Knowler and the staff always treat her with respect and listen to her questions and involve her with the process. Today we brought two of our cats for their exam, my daughter brought her stuffed Wolfie. Dr. Knowler let my girl listen to everyone's heart with the stethoscope and then a wonderful tech came in to "fix" up Wolfie with a splint and bandage. Here is my girl with our puppy and Wolfie. She always dresses up for the occasion of going to the vet.
Baxter got groomed today He's thinking I'm handsome and I know it
I think you are the best thats why I said you were.
Nothing like a trip to our favorite vet! Thanks for the treats!

Heading back to work? Here's some tips to help prevent separation anxiety in your pets.

As many people begin to return to work with the lessening of Alberta's COVID 19 restrictions, our pets will notice that we won't be home as much. This can cause some separation anxiety. In order to prepare your pets for less of a dramatic change, try some of these suggestions:

*Try to give your pet some alone time everyday. Allowing them access to a quiet place for rest, sleep, and independence can help them adjust.

*Leave your pet at home and leave the house a few times each day, even if for just a few minutes.

*Organize and structure your pets' daily routine (feeding times, play time, walking and sleep). By already having a routine in pace, your pet will be able to adjust to your new routine smoother and with less stress.

We have recently been receiving many calls about booking routine nail trims. As we continue to monitor the COVID 19 situation in Calgary, we are still working with shorter operating hours and small teams of staff.

As we must now prioritize our available appointments for unwell and essential appointments, we are currently postponing the booking of routine nail trims.

We will reassess our current protocols as Alberta continues to reopen to ensure we can maintain the safety and health of our staff and our clients.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and we hope that we can return to more normal operations very soon.

A chicken with red ear lobes will produce brown eggs, and a chicken with white ear lobes will produce white eggs.

With Alberta announcing their reopening plan, we wanted to update everyone on our plan for gradual reopening at the clinic.

Our priority has, and always will be, the safety of our Castleridge family, as well as our clients and their families. With this in mind, and after a great deal of thought, we have decided to take a more gradual, conservative approach to the full reopening of the clinic. We have decided that until June 30, 2020, we will be continuing with our “locked door” policy, providing contactless appointments, curbside pickups, limited appointments, and decreased hours.

We will be tentatively adding a limited number of surgery days in June, starting with spays and neuters on those selected days. During the surgery hours, we will not be taking any phone calls or appointments, strictly focusing on surgery during these times. We will post these updated hours at the beginning of June.

Over the next few weeks we will be closely monitoring the situation and will keep you updated on any further changes that may occur with us at the clinic. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. We hope that everyone, and their families, remain safe and healthy during these trying times.

However, in dogs the skin is the target organ, whether the allergen is eaten, breathed in, or in direct contact with the skin.
