Happy Chinese New Year! 2022 is an exciting year for Alberta College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine as we are celebrating our 25th anniversary.
Chinese New Year is one of the big celebrations in China, however, many parts of East Asian countries also celebrate this big day and is often known as Lunar New Year. Traditionally, it is a 15-day celebration festival that lasts until the following new full moon with lots of loud noises, bright lights, fireworks, red clothes, and decorations to scare away the monsters for a better year. It is also the time of the year that families gather up to honor their ancestors with all kinds of food.
We are delighted to celebrate 25th Chinese New Year with all of you. May you stay strong, safe, and healthy, and may you have a great year and a wonderful time ahead!
