About Me
I graduated with honours from the 2200 hour program at MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy. I have also completed a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary, and was a member of the U of C varsity wrestling team for four years. My background in athletics and dealing with injuries has given me great insight into how important it is to support and care for your body to better enjoy your every day life and activities.
I am passionate about learning more ways to treat the human body. To that end, I am currently enrolled in my fourth year of an Osteopathic Manual Therapy program at the Canadian School of Osteopathy in Vancouver in order to broaden my knowledge and scope of practice, and to provide the best possible care for my clients.
Osteopathy is a natural medicine which aims to restore function in the body by treating the causes of pain and imbalance. To achieve this goal the Osteopathic Manual Practitioner relies on the quality and finesse of his/her palpation and works with the position, mobility and quality of the tissues.
During my treatments, I use craniosacral, visceral manipulation, fascial release, and joint mobilization techniques.
