Today for Red Dress Day, we held walks across our different campuses to honour and remember the tragic loss of many Indigenous Women, girls, and 2SLGBTQIA+ people.

At Wood's Homes, we stand in solidarity with our Indigenous clients, friends, families, neighbours and communities, and remain committed to listening and learning about the importance of this day and those who have been impacted.

It’s the start of Mental Health Month, and we sat down with Wood’s Home’s staff to ask them one important question....

This Mental Health Month, we want to know - where do you go? For some, it’s a place. For others, it can be a person. And sometimes, it’s something you do. Everyone has their thing, the thing that brings a sense of calm, or a moment of relief.

Regardless of where you go, Wood’s Homes meets you in that moment.

Throughout May, all online donations will be matched! Your generosity will have twice the impact by providing services across Wood’s Homes programs, and the match will provide funds for new specialized facilities designed to prioritize mental health care and foster a stronger, healthier community.

Visit woodshomes.ca for resources, information, and to donate. ✨
