The holiday's aren't always merry and bright for young people and families at Wood's Homes, and staff like Emma witness it first hand.

That's why we're asking the community to help us ease the burden on those who are struggling this holiday season. By contributing to Wood's Homes for the Holidays, you're saying yes to those who need it most.

Here's how you can help:

🎄Miracle Maker: Sponsor or adopt a family or small program group with wish lists and holiday needs. You choose how many families or groups you’d like to support.

🎁 Wish Worker: Choose specific items from wish lists for individual youth clients OR shop our Amazon wish list. Gifts can be dropped off at our locations by December 15.

💫Dream Donor: Make a financial donation of any amount. Donations also may be eligible for matching gifts or volunteer grants.

Lethbridge - we need your help! We are looking for new or like-new items that our clients can gift to their family and loved ones this holiday season. The Holiday Shop allows clients to "shop" for gifts that they otherwise wouldn't be able to give.

We accept items for all ages, anything from decor, toys, games, books, etc. with the exception of kitchenware and clothing.

📍Drop your items off at the Lethbridge Opportunity Hub (816 4 Ave S) from now until Dec 4.

Temperatures are dropping, and for young people without stable housing and resources, these conditions can be life-threatening.

Wood's Homes Inglewood Opportunity Hub and Lethbridge Emergency Youth Shelter are in desperate need of the following items:

➡️Warm winter clothing, jackets, boots, socks, and toques
➡️Hand/foot warmers and hygiene essentials
➡️Nutritious food and bus tickets for transportation

Items can be dropped off at 1008 14 St. S.E. (Calgary) or 312 – 3 Street South (Lethbridge). Anything helps!

Additionally, the Inglewood Opportunity Hub Emergency Warming Centre will be open seven days a week from 9:00am – 5:00pm for youth and young adults up to 29-years-of-age starting December 1.
