The Canadian Intensive Care Foundation is a Canadian charity dedicated to raising funds through public donations to support research into intensive care.
Canadian intensive care units are often the first haven for the critically ill or injured and their families. Those affected by traumatic circumstances look to our ICU carers not only for reassurance, but for the expertise required to save lives. The CICF knows that generous public support can make a real difference to our ability to save more lives each and every day.
Mission: Our charity is committed to increasing medical professionals' understanding of the needs of critical care patients and the treatments available for these patients. By providing some of the nation's leading intensive care researchers with grants, we ensure that tomorrow's most critically ill patients will enjoy better care and a greater chance of survival.
