One of the most effective techniques to deal with overthinking, anxiety and worries is breath work. When this happens to you, take a few moments away from the craziness. Center yourself and take some slow deep breaths. Count to four breathing in, pause, hold for a count of four, and exhale for a count of four. Slow is important. Don't rush through it. Do this at least four or five times in a row. It will calm your nervous system and allow you to think more clearly.
How does it feel? Do you notice a difference?
