As we age, certain tasks become more challenging and occasionally require support. There are a few key things loved ones can look for to know when it’s time to call in help.
1. Your loved one seems to be struggling with personal hygiene and daily care.
2. Meals - your loved one is struggling to eat on a regular basis, and preparing meals is no longer something they can do.
3. Contact - you are finding it more difficult to reach them, they are not able to answer the phone regularly or regular contact has dropped off.
4. Activities - they are no longer doing the same activities that they used to do.
5. Changes in their demeanour, mood and outlook are all flags to be aware of.
If you notice these changes, reach out and we can help you identify if it’s time to get extra support.
