They can work independent of or alongside a dentist and are an integral and important part of your health care team.

Flossing is SO important and definitely needs to be incorporated into everyone's oral care routine. This goes for adults too.

In General it helps prevent decay in between the teeth but more importantly keeps the gums and bone that are holding those teeth in place healthy.

It doesn't matter if you floss before or after you bush as long as you're flossing.

General rule of thumb
Floss the teeth you want to Keep 😁

Question: How Much Toothpaste to use for my Kids???

It doesn't take much.
Just remember a little goes a long way.
If your child is 3 or younger, use a smear of toothpaste (about the size of a grain of rice).
For children 3 or older, a pea-sized amount will do.
And its ok to help them and double check their work until you are confident that they can handle it on their own.
There's nothing wrong with a little team work.
