The new Living Wage rates are here, and Home Spritz remains a proud Living Wage Employer across BC.
We don’t just clean homes. We build better lives. 🏡

The living wage for Metro Vancouver has risen to $27.85 per hour.

In the past year, rents have increased higher than general inflation while vacancy rates have remained low. And while the government has worked to reduce childcare costs for families, rising cost of living continues to push the living wage rate higher each year.

This year’s Living Wage report better reflects the experiences of different household types, with calculations for the living wages based on the weighted average of the rates for three household types: a two-parent family with two children, a single parent with one child and a single adult living alone.

We’re grateful to the more than 450 certified Living Wage employers across BC who are helping raise the bar by paying wages that support a basic standard of living. Their efforts are contributing to a fairer, more inclusive economy.
