If we haven't met yet, I'm Katelyn! 👋

I'm a Registered Nurse with 15 years experience, a wife and a mama to two little ones! Through The Mama Coach- Katelyn Peers, I hope families feel more confident and supported through pregnancy, newborn life, feeding and (of course!) sleep!!

Why do I do this? Because I have been there too... the sleepless nights, the feeding challenges, the overwhelm. And I know how powerful it feels to have someone in your corner who gets it and can give you clear, evidence based support.

A little more about me:
📖 I'm a bookworm who can never pick just one favourite
⛳ I love to play golf (still working on that straight shot 🤣)
💕 My heart (and hands!) are full with a boy and girl at home!

If you are new here, welcome! If you've been following along for a while, thank you for being here 💛 I can't wait to share more tips, encouragement, and support with you!

Curious about my services? My DMs are always open, let's chat!!!

You've probably seen a million baby sleep tips on instagram....but here's what makes working with me different.
I don't hand out cookie cutter advice. As a Registered Nurse with 15 years experience, I use the nursing process in every single consultation I offer. What does that mean to you?

✨ I get to know your baby, your family, and your unique situation before offering any recommendations. No guesswork. No one size fits all plans.

✨ Together, we identify what's actually going on- whether it's wake windows, feeding challenges, developmental milestones, or sleep associations at play.

✨ I create a fully customized, evidence- based plan tailored to your baby's needs and your parenting style.

✨ I'm there to coach, troubleshoot, and cheer you on as you put the plan into action- because let's be real, this stuff is tough sometimes.

✨ We tweak and adjust as needed. Babies grow fast, and support shouldn't be one and done.

If you're craving sleep support that's judgement- free, baby-led, and clinically informed - I'd love to help!

✨ 5 things I wish every new parent knew about baby sleep

It's easy to feel overwhelmed when your baby isn't sleeping "by the book". But here's the truth: there isn't just one book.

Every baby is different. And while sleep will always ebb and flow, there are a few things I wish every parent knew early on- things that would've save a lot of tears ( theirs and mine 😅)

💛 A consistent routine can be more powerful than a strict schedule
💛 Short naps and night wakings are normal in the beginning
💛 You're not doing anything wrong

Need help figuring out? That's exactly what I'm here for.

☎️ Book a FREE discovery call to chat about what's going on with your little one. I'd love to support you.

The Scoop on Newborn Bedtime!

If you baby is staying up until 10pm or 11pm, you're not alone! Late bedtime is totally normal in the early weeks. Here's why:

✨ Newborns don't have a set circadian rhythm yet- their days and nights are still sorting themselves out, which means bedtime stays late until 8-12 weeks.

Around 8-12 weeks, babies naturally start consolidating sleep. Bedtime gradually shifts earlier to around 7-8 pm by 3-4 months.

✨ What can you do?
- follow your baby's cues- aim for awake windows of 45 min to 1 hour during the day.
- create a calming pre-bedtime routine
- offer frequent feeds to meet their needs.

Hang in there! And you got this Mama ! 💕

If you need support navigating sleep - send me a DM I'd love to chat with you!
