Just over a week ago, we held our Sixth annual Big Ball. We welcomed over 650 guests to the beautiful Hotel Arts and raised just over $320,000 for initiatives that impact our community. Our incredible ambassador MARK TEWKSBURY inspired us all with his message of the importance of allyship. To honor this, we have committed $20,000 to the upcoming Canada Special Olympic winter games being held in Calgary later this month. We were so proud to have some of their incredible athletes join us on February 2.

Our 2024 community partners, the incredible football team took time out of their training schedule to support our event. We are cheering them on as they represent the Canadian Premier League later this month at the CONCACAF Champions Cup⚽️💙

It takes a small army to pull off an event like this, and we can’t thank all of our volunteers, supporters, suppliers, guests, and every single person that contributed to this truly memorable event enough! We are truly indebted to each of you 🙏🏾❤️

Over the next few weeks, we will share with you some of the initiatives that we are supporting in 2024.💙

And ….. we are already getting ready for our Seventh Big Ball being held January 31, 2025 at the Hotel Arts ballroom! Please save the date!!

On we can’t help, but reflect on how many little random acts of kindness went into making this years major fundraiser such a success. Beautiful little touches everywhere – stunning flowers, donated by one of our attendees, the amazing team leading the festivities at the Bill Brooks Punch Wall, the extremely popular candy bar and the incredible are just a few examples of the kindness and generosity of our team and our guests 🙏🏾💙. it really does take a village to make this event come together, and we appreciate the kindness of every single person that wrote us to let us know what they thought.

At this years Big Ball, we told the story of an amazing soccer player from the team here in Calgary. is an inspiring athlete, and his teammates are full of hope, optimism, and positivity.
