🌟 Share Your Experience: Help Shape the Future of Job Coaching for Employees with Disabilities in Alberta 🌟

Mount Royal University, Alberta Employment First Network (AEFN) and Canadian Partners in Workforce Innovation (CAN WiN) are partnering on a new project to better understand how job coaching supports employees with disabilities.

We’re looking for Calgarians/Albertans with disabilities (diagnosed or self-disclosed) to share their experiences with job coaching—whether you’re currently employed or not. Your voice will help improve workplace inclusivity, refine support, and shape future policies.
Who can participate?

✔️ Adults 18+ with a disability (diagnosed or self-disclosed)
✔️ Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or individuals with refugee status
✔️ Have held at least one job for 1 year (past or present)

Participation opportunities:
🔹In-person roundtable (Calgary – Oct 7th)
🔹Two Virtual roundtables (accessible format, Sept 27th)
🔹1:1 digital interviews
All sessions will focus on your experiences with job coaching, including:
How it supported your workplace integration and wellness
What worked (or didn’t work)
How it influences your long-term job success
📊 The insights gathered will directly inform service providers, employers, and policymakers—helping ensure workplace and service adaptations truly reflect the needs of employees with disabilities.
✨ This is a significant chance to elevate self-advocate voices and make workplaces across Alberta more inclusive.
