✨New Team Member Alert ✨

Cranston 📍

Summer Bomi Jang holds a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University. She previously studied at the Korean National Sports University, and later completed an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at York University.

Summer takes a patient-centered approach that combines manual therapy, dry needling/IMS, acupuncture for physiotherapy, and customized exercise programming to support recovery and long-term health. She continues to advance her clinical skills through ongoing orthopedic training with the Orthopaedic Division of Canada.

Her goal is to guide and support each patient in taking an active role in their healing journey — both in and outside the clinic. Fluent in both Korean and English, Summer is happy to support Korean-speaking patients in their preferred language to ensure clear communication and a more comfortable treatment experience.

Outside of the clinic, Summer enjoys running, swimming, ice skating, climbing, and hiking — with downhill skiing being her favorite. She also brings practical experience as a certified lifeguard and ski instructor.

Traditional Chinese Medicine ( TCM) offered at our Cranston 📍

Janna (Zhanna) Sitovska is a registered acupuncturist in Alberta and a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). She studied Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine at the Alberta College of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in Calgary.

Janna trained in both classical acupuncture and distal needling techniques for immediate pain relief. She studied the ‘Balance Method’ of the late Dr. Richard Tan and Master Tung’s family acupuncture system. She continued her study of herbal medicine with Dr. Jimmy Wei-Yen Chang. Dr. Chang is widely recognized for his skills in correlating definitive pulse diagnoses with herbal prescription. Janna now specializes in Pulse and Ear Diagnostics and Herbal Medicine.

Janna treats a broad range of health issues including pain, Bell’s palsy, digestive disorders, women’s and men’s health, anxiety, skin conditions, sleep issues, and cardiovascular and lung disorders. The focus of Janna’s treatment is to help get to the root of the problem. The goal of her acupuncture sessions is to improve the patient’s quality of life by eliminating acute symptoms and to work with the body to revive and enhance the body’s natural healing potential to prevent future recurrences.

In addition to Janna’s eastern medicine education, she worked as a registered nurse in the trauma department in a hospital setting in her native Ukraine before moving to Canada. When she’s not at the clinic, you can find her spending time with family, enjoying the outdoors, doing yoga/tai chi, dancing, volunteering in her community, or attending courses to improve her treatments.
