I’m passionate about living renewed - empowering and supporting others toward finding the healing they need in order to live the life they want to live.
I am a Dr. of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Acupuncturist & BodyTalk & Accunect Practitioner. I have a strong desire to help those with chronic illness or stubborn symptoms, who have "tried everything else" or have found few answers for their problems with conventional medicine. It is these cases that started me on the journey toward the study of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Complementary medicines like NAET, BodyTalk. I am excited to integrate all of my training to design treatments that are unique for each patient, on each unique appointment. Our bodies are all different - Lets treat them that way.

For many years, researchers have been intrigued by a disturbing pattern: Deadly heart attacks increase during the winter holiday season. It is the gloomiest holiday statistic, but Christmas and New Year’s are on the top list of dangerous days for heart- attack deaths and cardiovascular problems. Meet the newest weapon in the fight against high blood pressure. Research suggests that weekly acupuncture sessions can slash systolic blood pressure by up to 20 points, producing results on par with prescription medications such as ACE inhibitors and calcium channel blockers. By stimulating a few key acupoints near the elbows and knees, acupuncture releases neurotransmitters that travel to areas of the brain that regulate the cardiovascular system, explains John Longhurst, MD, PhD, a cardiologist and director of the Susan Samueli Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of California, Irvine.
The World Health Organization has also listed Hypertension and one of the diseases, symptoms or conditions for which acupuncture has been proved-through controlled trials-to be an effective treatment.

When I was studying TCM and had worn my body out with working to hard and not taking care of myself, there were those moments when you just knew you were getting sick. Stiff neck, headache, achy joints or the beginnings of a sore throat. I would run to the school and grab any student available to do some ancient immune boosting techniques. Some cupping, a few immune boosting needles, and a home-made herbal soup to chase the cold away. It worked like a charm. I will post the recipe later this week. But if you find yourself getting those ominous first twinges of an oncoming cold or flu, book an appointment with me right away to nip it in the bud. Once the symptoms are more prominent the treatment will still help, but it may take a few days for the pathogen to run its course (a shorter course mind you). Or if you are someone who gets sick more frequently than the average person, or have a time when you really can afford getting sick (like a wedding or large exam) regular acupuncture visits and herbal supplements can boost and change that pattern in your life. Book an appointment with the purple "a" that says "schedule Now" at the top of this page.
doctoroz.com ‘Tis the season for colds and the flu, but luckily we have ways in which we can boost our immune systems to ward off illness. Acupuncture is oftentimes thought of as a pain-relieving treatment, but did you know it could also help to naturally boost your immune system?
