Your baby is waking at 5am. The problem probably started yesterday at noon.

I know you probably didn’t want to hear that, but early mornings are something I’ve been seeing a lot of and most of the families I work with wildly misunderstand them.

When the last nap of the day ends too early, or runs too long, your baby’s sleep pressure can be way off before bed. Meaning when they wake at 5am it’s because their body is telling them they’re done sleeping for the night.

So before you start pushing bedtime later or just suffering through the sunrise wakeups let’s look at the afternoons.
When is that last nap ending?
How long is their wake window before bed?

Early mornings are often a symptom, not a standalone problem. And treating symptoms without looking at the whole picture is how families end up more exhausted and confused.

This (and many other things) are why my packages start with a full sleep assessment, not just a one size fits none PDF. We need to look at the whole day, not just the wake up.

Choosing to sleep train doesn’t make you a bad mom. But who you choose for support matters.

And I want to tell you why.

I’m a Registered Nurse. Which means I’m not an unregulated sleep coach with a course and an opinion. I have a regulatory body. I have clinical standards and I have an assessment framework that I actually use every single time, for every single family.

When you book with me you’re not getting a method handed to you in a PDF. You’re getting a full assessment that looks at your baby’s feeding, their development, their temperament, and your life. What your goals are and what you can actually handle.

Because sleep training isn’t one-size-fits-all. And the families I work with deserve more than generic advice recycled from someone else’s experience.

You’ve spent enough time in comment sections feeling worse than when you started. You don’t need more hot takes. You need someone who can actually look at the full picture and build you something that works.
That’s what being an RN means in this space. And that’s exactly what you get when you work with me.

Somehow society has convinced mothers that they have to suffer enough to earn support. And nobody tells you there is no weakness in asking for help before you hit the breaking point.

Here’s the thing though; being a parent is all the qualification you need to deserve good support. And that gut feeling that something is off? That has always been enough of a reason.

My newborn packages are built for this. Before you’re running on empty, and before you’re months deep in habits you adopted out of desperation. We look at sleep, feeding and routines together so you can be confident in your ability to navigate those early weeks and (gasp!) actually enjoy them.

You don’t need to know what you’re looking for to reach out. Book your free assessment call and let’s figure it out together.

I became a nurse because I wanted to help people through hard moments. I became a mama coach after living through some.

Motherhood can be every dream you’ve ever had, while also being SO hard.

My first baby never slept. Truly didn’t close her eyes for the first 5 months she was earthside until we worked with a mama coach and I realized how much more capacity I would have rested.
My second baby never latched. We tried triple feeding for months, saw every body worker, lactation consultant, and professional you’ve ever searched for and we still couldn’t have a successful breastfeeding journey.

I know what it’s like to cry on the bathroom floor exhausted, and touched out. To resent the sound of your breast pump while you do what is “best” for your baby. To feel like you’ve failed, or something is wrong with you.

I’m here to tell you there’s nothing wrong with you. And there is always something that can be done to help you and your baby in your unique circumstance. Chances are good you aren’t going to find it through Chat GPT.

What you need is someone who has been there personally and has the training to support you clinically. That’s what I am here for.

If you’re in the thick of it and need help with sleep, feeding, newborn routines, you name it: you’ll find it here 🩷

Hot take: bottle refusal is not a shopping problem. 🍼

I’ve worked with families who have spend weeks trying every suggested bottle on the market. By the time they reach me the negative associations have built up, the anxiety on both sides is through the roof and the actual issue - oral tension, flow mismatch, pacing - was there from the beginning.

The right fix has to match the actual problem.

If you’ve been in the bottle isle every day for 3 weeks and nothing is working, this is your sign to get a proper assessment instead. Find your link to book below

Nobody teaches you this in prenatal class, but it matters so much.

Paced bottle feeding is the difference between a feed that leaves your baby settled, and one that leaves everybody crying.

Swipe through for your rundown on how to do it. Send it to whoever is helping with feeds this week 🩷

Standing in your kitchen wondering what you’re doing wrong?

Nothing, you’re doing nothing wrong.

Bottle refusal is one of the most common feeding challenges I see - and it’s rarely solved by trying yet another ni**le brand. It’s solved by figuring out the actual why.

Watch the reel for Six reasons this happens, and what I actually look at as an RN and lactation consultant.

If you’re struggling, let’s deal with it. Book your bottle refusal consult at the link below
