From today 6th February, and the days leading up to the New Moon Solar Eclipse on 17th February which also marks the Lunar New Year and the beginning of the Year of the Fire Horse.
This is not a countdown; it’s a cosmic corridor — a quiet, potent space where time slows to help release what cannot travel forward.
This is not subtle energy — this is break-the-pattern and transform energy.
The last Fire Horse year was 1966, a year that didn’t just challenge systems — it shattered them. Truth is surfacing, illusions are collapsing, and these are the ignition sparks of rebirth.
A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between the Earth and the Sun, temporarily obscuring the Sun’s light.
This alignment is one of the most potent energetic gateways — a moment when the usual flow of light and shadow is disrupted, creating a liminal space where transformation, revelation, and rebirth can occur.
Eclipses never begin on the day they arrive — their energy is felt in the days before and after.
That this one coincides with the Lunar New Year and the rise of the Fire Horse marks a massive shift in transformative energy.
We are also completing the final threads of the Year of the Snake — a cycle of shedding, pressure, and transformation.
The Snake teaches growth through constriction, wisdom through stillness, and renewal through release.
As this energy completes, many feel unmotivated. The Snake doesn’t rush its shedding; it waits until the new skin is ready to breathe.
What’s surfacing now are not new desires, but old residues — patterns that once protected but now feel heavy.
Strategies that worked before may suddenly lose their spark. This isn’t failure; it’s feedback.
The pre-eclipse corridor reveals what cannot cross the threshold with you.
Anything that demands constant effort to sustain is already loosening its hold.
Emotionally, this may feel like neutrality, quiet grief, or gentle detachment from identities that once defined you.
Mentally, decisions may feel suspended — and that’s exactly as it should be.
Solar eclipses reset direction, and direction cannot shift while the past is still being gripped.
These days are the pause where the hands unclench.
If energy feels thin or emotions heightened, gentle containment matters.
Rest, hydrate, ground, and allow space for integration.
As we now stand in the handover between the Snake and the Fire Horse — between introspection and ignition.
The Fire Horse brings courage, movement, and passion. It’s already stirring as the last days of the Snake’s wisdom are fully absorbed.
Nothing needs to be forced. What remains after this corridor will be real, aligned, and ready to move freely into the new cycle.
