Motherhood reshapes everything — your body, your energy, your sense of self.

These sessions are for postpartum women who want to reconnect with their bodies, rebuild strength with intention, and rediscover confidence in how they move and train.

This isn’t about “bouncing back.”
It’s about feeling strong, capable, and at home in your body again.

Postpartum Movement Sessions begin Tuesday, November 4th.

6 weeks of guided movement, small-group connection, and personal support at NLPT.

Things didn’t go the way I had hoped this week.

Instead of a Mother’s Day weekend full of restorative rest, I found myself fighting a relatively mild, yet potent, cold.

Instead of an energizing start to my week, I fielded pivot after pivot as my daughter grew sicker throughout the day.

Instead of lifting at the gym, my ‘heavy lifts’ came in the form of unforeseen tasks that naturally come about when a child gets sick, and managing my mood and my capacity for decision making while sleep deprived and overwhelmed.

Considering all this, I still moved – with intention not intensity in mind.

Conversing with other moms in my stage of life the common theme is this: just how??

How is there time? How do we have energy? How do we stay consistent when it seems like every other day a curve ball is thrown our way, and we are too exhausted to show up for our ‘workout’ or any other form of exercise with the intensity needed to see results?

My encouragement to you is to take a big step back. Zoom out 10,000 feet. Remember the big picture.

For many of us our desire to train, exercise or commit to any form of movement is to support our own health, to show up better for our families, and to live in a way that is life-giving. In this case, INTENTION is far more essential than INTENSITY.

This may come as a surprise for many of us who have been indoctrinated in ‘all-or-nothing, no excuses’ culture. Often that mindset leaves us burnt out, dejected, unable to trust our mind or body.

A guiding principle at Bridgewell is to lead with intention because when we do, we engage in movement in ways that is aligned with our current needs, producing the relevant process goals, while sustaining our effort to lead us to our overarching outcome goals. When we lead with intention we show up not to prove our worth but to honour our inherent value to our families and communities. When we lead and move with intention, everyone wins.

Ladies, I see you.
We’re heading into one of the busiest seasons of the year—fields, sidelines, courts, late nights, full schedules. It’s beautiful… and exhausting.

Maybe you’re feeling that too. Not necessarily from extracurricular sports, but from the weight of a full life.

Here’s the truth: movement is survival in this season.
It’s medicine. It’s support. AND It’s doable—with the right space.

That’s what these small group sessions are about: rebuilding your strength for the season you’re in—prenatal, postpartum, or simply in the throws of womanhood. With guidance. With clarity. With confidence.

If you’ve been quietly wishing for support, this is your sign.

I'm excited to offer women's only, prenatal and postpartum training sessions this spring!

It's been exciting to see a growing enthusiasm for resistance training and a movement towards returning to exercise for health and longevity. At the same time, I also recognize how overwhelming, confusing and frustrating it is to just get started.

As your I'm pleased to meet you right where you are and provide the support you need to take the next steps to rebuild strength, restore confidence and adopt *sustainable* habits and practices that help you thrive in the season you're in.

Training Session Booking opens Monday and spaces will be limited! Training sessions will begin the week of May 19th!

We know February is a tough month, but it's also the perfect time for a training session.

Nikki is opening up several Training Sessions for the month of February...beginning next week!

These sessions will be Mondays at 6:30AM, and Wednesdays at 6:30AM and 9:30AM. (Beginning next Monday, Feb 10)

We are capping these sessions at 6 people at a time, so register ASAP. Let us know if you are interested, or, see the website for info.

It’s the LAST week of January! Can you believe it?

The end of the month is an opportune time to reflect, consider and celebrate(!) the progress you’ve made. It’s also a good time to address what’s not working, or what’s left you wanting for more WITH* compassion and grace.

Moreover, the end of the month also signals the coming arrival of a fresh calendar page, a fresh start, a fresh approach to progressively* aligning your current practices with your goals.

If you’re someone who has set health, wellness or fitness goals this year and you’ve found yourself frustrated or disappointed or keenly noticed where I placed those * allow this be permission to reflect and take fresh new action, WITH compassion, grace and a new mindset of progress over perfection.

WITH this permission, is also my vote of confidence and support. You can do this.
