Beauty Saturday!
Worked at the clinic this morning, once done went out on the boat and did a little fishing, witnessed a rock slide from the back of the island, back to the warf and was taught how to fillet our fish.
Now getting ready to head to a celebration for a friend

Potential impact to appointments during the month of August and September.

📍Please note that I will be at my NL clinic location starting tomorrow, Tuesday July 15th until Saturday, July 26th.📍

As some may already know, my husband was recently diagnosed with cancer and we had his first appointment today in London with his Oncologist.
The doctor is pretty certain of the location of the cancer but we are waiting to confirm with the results from today's biopsy and a soon to come scan.
If nothing changes with the results of the scan and biopsy, Paul's treatment plan is 7 weeks of radiation, 5 days a week starting at the end of July/early August in London, with a potential chance of also needing chemotherapy.
Paul's cancer diagnosis has a very good prognosis. The doctor assured us that as long as his diagnosis doesn't change, this is a highly curable and survivable cancer.

During Paul's treatments, there may be an impact to my schedule as I juggle his appointments and more. I am hoping to minimize the impact to my schedule and I will know more when we have confirmation from his oncologist and radiologist in the upcoming few weeks. In the event that I need to make changes to my schedule, I will reach out to those affected as soon as possible.

If you know anything about Paul, you know that his stubbornness will be an asset in this fight and a massive thorn in my side! So if you see me a little frazzled this summer, it's just Paul keeping me on my toes and testing my sanity!

WOW! Another year has flown by!
Today marks my 23rd year in practice as an RMT.
I have had the pleasure of meeting so many amazing people throughout my career, including my amazing colleague, Doug Cameron from Saginaw Chiropractic and Massage Therapy.
Earlier this year, I opened my clinic on Bell Island, NL and I'll be heading out next week for two weeks.
This year will be an interesting year with a transition taking place at the end of the year as well as a recent health diagnosis for my husband that will take some attention. I am truly thankful to everyone for your understanding, cooperation and support as we navigate these challenges (good and bad).
I am extremely grateful to everyone that trusted me with your care and I look forward to see what my next 23 years look like.

We are back!
We did a long weekend bike trip up north to ride with friends and family at the New Liskeard bikers reunion.
Mother Nature wasn't thrilled about us traveling by bike between North Bay and New Liskeard. She showed her disapproval by giving us hours of torrential downpours and cold weather.
Otherwise, it was a great trip! Lots of laughs, great times with friends and family and more amazing memories.

Potential impact for all future appointments.

As some already know, Paul (my husband) was recently diagnosed with cancer. We are still in the diagnostic stage with upcoming doctors appointments still undetermined and
his appointments and health are my #1 priority. As I will be attending all appointments with Paul, there may be an impact to my schedule in Ontario and especially Newfoundland.
We have a referral and waiting for an appointment to the London Cancer Center for a scan so we can find out the location, type and our treatment options for his cancer.
I greatly appreciate everyones understanding during this time and if needed, I will reach out to those affected as soon as possible.
