Our formulas are artfully distilled and blended by herbalist, naturalist, and Master Formulator Dominique Del Col in our solar-illuminated stillroom, housed within a converted heritage stone crofters cottage erected in 1879. A dedicated grassroots green space surrounded by a lush and fecund English garden, abundant in wild medicinal herbs and heirloom flowers. We are eternally devoted to crafting

the finest herbal skincare and wellness preparations in a conscious environment, using sustainable, organic, and wild foraged ingredients while advocating for biodynamic and celestially guided planting practices. Our formulations are thoughtfully concocted by hand in micro-batches with only the purest botanical essences and extracts, without artificial ingredients, and in mindful glass vessels free of unnecessary packaging. Our path is guided by intentional sourcing to navigate the environmental and social impact in every step of our makers' process. When you eat food that is in season, you lower your carbon impact. Locally grown food takes significantly fewer transportation resources, reducing your influence on emissions and greenhouse gases. Produce like herbs, flowers, grains, fruits and vegetables are also picked at the peak of their ripeness and nutrition density because they do not need to risk spoilage during transit. This means that each pear, plum, bundle of rosemary, or root vegetable is wildly more nutritious and healthful for you to enjoy. We are passionate about applying this vital principle in the formulation of our skincare. We hand-forage our bounty of wild organic botanicals when they are dripping with morning dew drops and glittering dollops of pollen, buried deep in the soil, fully functioning as a vital living ecosystem that sustains the natural world around it, nourishing bountiful crops and verdant forests and providing sustenance for diverse wildlife and landscape. Any rare essences or non-native plants used in our formulas are always wild-gathered, organic, and procured at a premium from micro-herbaries who share our values and are committed to regenerative growing and sustainable harvesting practices. As eternal earth stewards, we harvest in communion with and in reverence of this magnificent land while crafting skincare formulas that are nutritionally exceptional and magnificently effective.

This work begins with the land.
With water, soil, seed, and the hands that protect them. What we create is shaped not only by what is gathered, but by how it is gathered - with restraint, reciprocity, and care for what remains.

Care, to us, is not separate from the earth. It is an extension of it, and a responsibility we carry forward in every measure.

In honour of this, a contribution will be made with each order to support  , whose work advances Indigenous-led climate justice and land stewardship across Canada.

Orders of $125 or more will include a 30ml Honey Balm & Violet hydrosol ($44 value), a small-batch distillation from spring botanicals, prepared slowly in our studio.
An aromatic, nourishing complexion mist, infused with wild honey balm and early violets.

Offered online through April 30th.

To receive your gift:

Light falls across the floor, revealing botanical preparations, quiet goods for home and body, and objects for ritual, the garden, for reading, for lighting, for creating, for giving.

Alongside our award-winning, house-distilled botanical skincare are small works by independent makers, pottery made in close collaboration, and pieces chosen not for trend, but for how they live in a space.

And, for those who know us, an incredible collection of books has found its place here as well.

For those who love to read, to collect, to return to certain pages again and again, there are volumes on temple cooking and slow, contemplative kitchens, on tending the garden and working with seeds, on the apothecary, bees and honey, seasonal living, and the art of drink. Interwoven with these are works of art, poetry, feminist literature, and classic fables that have endured.

They’re the kind of books you reach for in quiet moments, or wrap carefully for someone you love.

Unboxing today, dozens of beautiful volumes for a perfectly inspired season ahead.
(Rosemary Hair Elixir returns tomorrow.)

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒑𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑹𝒊𝒕𝒖𝒂𝒍 𝑻𝒓𝒊𝒐

In early spring, we return to what actually restores us. Mineral-rich waters, living green botanicals, roots stirring beneath dark loam soil, biological diversity and vibrant flora.

After a season of dryness and overcorrection, the skin doesn’t need more steps, more actives, more noise. It needs nourishment that makes sense. Something it recognizes.

This trio was built as a complete ritual, not a collection. Each formula works in rhythm with the others to replenish, clarify, and rebuild the skin without forcing it into submission.

The fermentation in the serum brings wild greens into a living, bioavailable state, supporting the skin the way fertile soil supports growth. The mist delivers mineral-rich hydration that settles deeply rather than sitting on the surface. The mask restores with grounding clays and soft plant mucilage, drawing out what is stagnant while leaving the skin calm, steady, and intact.

Nothing here is harsh. Nothing strips or overrides.

Instead, the skin is given what it needs to function well again. Barrier strength returns. Tone becomes clearer. There is a visible vitality that doesn’t come from stimulation, but from being properly supported.

It is slower, more honest, and allows the skin to find its way back to itself, soft with dew, full with life, and quietly transcendent.

This offering includes:
• 30ml Fleurs de Mer Vitamin Tonic Mist
• 30ml Thé Sauvage Spring Greens Serum
• 15ml Pot de Fleurs Mineral and Mallow Mask

Valued at $152 when gathered individually, and presented in an organic heirloom cotton bag.

Available at $120 for a brief moment in spring.

A small, seasonal release from the stillroom.

Our Historic Cambridge shop is settling into early spring, soft light returning through the windows, the rooms warm and quietly alive again.

This week brings a small library of beautiful books—on art, poetry, herbalism, and quiet revolution—meant to be lingered with, turned slowly in the hand, and taken home when something speaks.

From our studio, fresh botanical distillations have arrived. Sea glass bathing salts, archival bathing oils in bioregional lavender, wild mint, and aged chamomile, with rosemary hair serum soon to follow.

There are simple, nourishing offerings throughout the space. Gifts for body and spirit, small daily rituals, pottery that settles into the home as if it has always been there.

Hand-dipped candles from a monastère in Québec, slow-burning and quietly luminous, made for the early evening hours.

A place to come in from the street, to warm your hands around a cup of tea, and to take something gentle with you when you leave.

We’re open through the long weekend, and the shop is feeling especially lovely right now.

𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐢𝐟𝐭 - 𝐄𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐓𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭!

Since the earliest days of the atelier, bathing has been one of the quiet foundations of our work.

Mineral-rich immersions, aromatic waters, and simple preparations made to soften the skin and restore a sense of balance through contact with plant and sea.

There is something about this turning of the season that calls us back to those rituals.

To mark the equinox, we’ve set aside a small collection of archival bathing serums, crafted slowly and held in reserve for this special seasonal event.

Each one can be worked into warm water or applied directly to damp skin, offering a soft, restorative and aromatic layer of mineral and botanical nourishment.

As the air begins to soften, the atelier shifts with it.

Shelves are filled with freshly distilled botanical skincare, house-crafted flower essences, and a considered collection of women-owned, Canadian artisan goods. Local beeswax candles, simple functional pottery, heirloom vessels, and small, meaningful provisions gathered for spring rituals.

You’re welcome to step inside, linger, and explore.

A cup of our daily herbal infusion is always being prepared, and there is space here for a quiet moment among the shelves.

The Spring Skin Ritual Trio ✿

Ritual Trio Includes:
– Thé Sauvage Fermented Spring Greens Serum (30ml)
– Fleurs De Mer Sea Plant Vitamin Essence (30ml)
– Pot de Fleurs Mineral + Mallow Mask (15ml)

A full cycle of hydration, renewal, and restoration.

Valued at $158 when selected individually

Our Atelier: A Brief History

There is a quiet beauty in working within a space shaped by another era. Built in 1909, at the close of the Victorian age and into the early Edwardian industrial era, these walls once held the rhythm of the Getty & Scott Shoe Company.

Light poured through tall factory windows, hands moved steadily at their work, and materials passed through the day with purpose.

Now, the same light settles differently. It stretches across the floors, rests on glass, herb, oil, mineral, resin and stone, and lingers in a way that feels almost intentional, as if called. To work here is to feel that continuity, to be held gently inside a place that has always been devoted to craft.

It feels like a remarkable gift to work within a region such as ours, where so many historic buildings have been preserved with care. I have always been drawn to spaces with history and story. During my years in Toronto, I sought out old apartments with a certain weight to them, places that held a sense of tactility and memory. That instinct has never left. There is a deep pleasure in allowing our work to be shaped, in part, by the spaces that hold it.

Now, we find ourselves within a historic warehouse, steps from the Grand River and just minutes from our brick and mortar at 20 Grand Ave. S., surrounded by an extraordinary collection of artisans and independent businesses. It is a rare and grounding thing to work alongside others who are equally devoted to their craft, each tending to something with care and intention.
