After much uncertainty, we are now up and running again I am looking forward to reassuring the public there is help if needed for personal care etc. for the elderly. It has been an uncertain time for everyone , but more so for the elderly, and getting help. Lets hope that we can now move forward.

Hello viewers to Face Book. I am pleased today to share my new website = Charcare.ca

I am pleased that it went well, with the help of a local designer. Tom Cahill Web Studio. The web site will describe all the services we offer, and the reassurance we can give to the elderly, that they are in the best place = Home.

It is not easy to make the right decision, for your elderly family, but talking it out helps.

Charcare is still, around in Campbell River. Like every one else we are waiting for the end of the precautions, related to the virus.

Charcare will be having a website very soon, the last details are being finalised, and hopefully it will be displayed soon.

Hello everyone, welcome to a drizzly, rainy day, in Campbell River. I am taking it easy, until I get brave and go shopping.

After working today, I look forward to the evening were I can sit, watch television, and enjoy the warmth.

Charcare is still offering services to the elderly, which makes a great difference in their lives, and maintains independence.
Many elderly clients say to me, they feel awful asking us to do, the jobs they cannot do.

My answer to that is, we all ask a favour of someone, many times in our lifetime. What we do for you is the same as , people do for us.

A lot of satisfaction is gained by helping someone along the way.

What does Charcare do :
* Personal care
* House Keeping
* Meal Preparation
* Medications
*Transport - shopping / doctor visits,/ Hospital Visits /
Nothing is impossible , any other service is taken into consideration.
Respite care is available - maybe you are going on vacation.
Palliative care for end of life.

My news for today. I am now doing Respite at 2540 Spring Road, Campbell River. This is a new venture, which I am hopeful , will satisfy the needs of the elderly, and their relatives for support in time of need.

Charcare's goal; to help the elderly remain independent, and continual decision makers, as to their needs.

Charcare, has two faces in the community;

Charcare, looking after all the aspects of daily living, for the elderly at home.
Better at Home is a subsidised cleaning service for the elderly and housebound. A client is allocated two hours every two weeks for cleaning, on a day of their choosing, and time they want.

This is a great success, 28 clients, who don't have to pay the full price for house cleaning. We, are now looking at very contented, happy people, who feel confident in our presense.
