👋 We’re excited to *officially* welcome Tarryn to our physiotherapy team!
Tarryn recently completed her Master's of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia through the Northern Cohort in Prince George. As a Campbell River local, we’re thrilled to have her back serving the community she grew up in.
Prior to becoming a physiotherapist, Tarryn worked as a kinesiologist, gaining extensive experience in exercise-based rehabilitation. She has worked with individuals recovering from motor vehicle and workplace injuries, providing both land-based and aquatic therapy programs.
Tarryn’s clinical interests include orthopedic and sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, neurological conditions, as well as pediatric care. She has a special interest in working with children and young athletes.
In addition to her physiotherapy training, Tarryn is a STOTT Pilates Matwork instructor with over five years of teaching experience and has completed AIM Level 1 Orthopedic Certification. She is passionate about continuing education and providing evidence-based care.
Her treatment approach focuses on combining education, hands-on therapy, and progressive exercise to help patients understand their injury, build strength, and return to the activities that matter most.
Outside the clinic, Tarryn enjoys staying active teaching spin classes, golfing, skiing, and walking her dog. During her time in Northern BC, she also enjoyed skiing at Powder King, Hudson Bay Mountain, teaching adaptive ski lessons, and trail running with classmates.
If you’ve seen Tarryn around town before — be sure to say hi in the comments!
