💙 Supporting Local Talent: Meet Matthew and Ben! 💙

Matthew and Ben are brothers and proud members of the Campbell River Killer Whales Swim Club.

🏊‍♂️ Matthew, 15, started swimming at age 6. His favourite strokes are freestyle and backstroke, and when he’s not in the pool, you’ll find him playing basketball, volleyball, rugby, or out fishing.

🏊‍♂️ Ben, 12, began swimming at age 5. His favourite stroke is breaststroke, and he also enjoys skiing, basketball, and, like his brother, a good day of fishing.

Both athletes train hard, compete with passion, and represent Campbell River with pride. We’re honoured to support these dedicated swimmers and can’t wait to see where their hard work takes them next.

⚽ Supporting Our Local Soccer Community! ⚽

Rehabilitation Station is proud to be the main community sponsor for CRYSA - Campbell River Youth Soccer Association this season.

Our very own Darcy Lawley has been a dedicated community soccer coach for several years, and this past Saturday marked the final game of the fall season. To celebrate, Rehabilitation Station made sure players and coaches were properly fueled with 60 donuts to close out the season. 🍩👏

You’ll also spot us repping our brand-new Rehabilitation Station hats on the sidelines, showing our colours while we cheer on the kids.

We love supporting our Campbell River community and the next generation of athletes, on and off the field.

💫 Supporting Local Talent: Meet Anna! 💫

Tarryn who is proudly standing next to Anna, she has been dancing with CR DanceXtreme since she was just three years old. Her favourite style is acrobatics, a blend of dance, gymnastics, strength, and flexibility.

This November, Anna will travel to Italy to represent Team Canada Dance on the world stage! 🇨🇦✨

A dedicated and passionate athlete, Anna has worked incredibly hard for this moment. Training for years and traveling across BC and beyond to rehearse with her team.

We’re so proud to have supported Anna’s journey this past year, helping her recover from sport-related injuries and stay strong through training.

Congratulations, Anna! The entire Rehabilitation Station team is cheering you on as you take your talents global. 🌍💙

⛳ Who We Are: Dylan Rybski ⛳
Physiotherapist

When he’s not helping clients move better, Dylan’s likely out on the course perfecting his swing. Over the past year, he’s played some incredible courses including PGA Riviera Maya in Cancún, Poipu Bay in Kauai, Fairmont Chateau Whistler, Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, Furry Creek in Squamish, and Swaneset in Pitt Meadows.

Dylan brings the same focus and precision he has on the course to every client he works with, helping them reach their goals and get back to doing what they love.

🎃 Halloween Birthday Fun! 🎂

While everyone else was handing out candy, Darcy was celebrating his 50th birthday in true style!

The team at Rehabilitation Station had a blast marking the big day and couldn’t resist teasing him that the grey hairs aren’t from age.... They’re from keeping us and his children all in line. 😏

Happy Birthday, Darcy! Here’s to many more milestones, laughs, and maybe a little less stress next year!

Registered Massage Therapist

Since moving to Vancouver Island, Anthony and his partner have been busy exploring their new home, visiting Cathedral Grove, hiking the Rainforest Trail in Tofino, and taking in community events like Truth and Reconciliation Day in Courtenay.

Anthony’s love for movement and the outdoors goes hand in hand with his work as a Registered Massage Therapist. Whether he’s helping clients recover from injuries or guiding them toward better mobility, his goal is always the same: helping people feel their best so they can keep doing what they love.

For James, living in Campbell River means easy access to adventure, whether it’s a quick hike to Elk Falls, a paddle across McIvor Lake, or a weekend exploring the trails. He loves the balance of staying active outdoors and helping others do the same.

In the clinic, James combines his passion for movement with his expertise in treating sports and gym-related injuries, helping clients get back to the activities they love, stronger than before.

Our very own Darcy Lawley bravely shaved his head with the help of his daughters to support Tour de Rock Cops for Cancer.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, Rehabilitation Station has raised $2800.00 in support of this incredible cause.

We’re so proud to stand behind this effort and grateful to everyone who contributed, cheered, and showed their support. Together, we’re making a difference for kids and families across Vancouver Island.

🏒 Rehabilitation Station is proud to support the next generation of hockey talent!

We’re excited to announce our sponsorship of Casey Bukta, who will be lacing up for IslandHC in the JPHL this season. Casey shares his passion for the game with our very own physiotherapist, Dylan Rybski.

Dylan isn’t just an expert in helping athletes recover and perform at their best, he’s an experienced player who still hits the ice in the Comox Valley Hockey League. Beyond that, Dylan has worked alongside high-level and professional hockey players, including those from the AHL, WHL, Jr A, and the Canucks training staff. His firsthand knowledge of the game gives him a unique understanding of the demands and rewards of hockey.

At Rehabilitation Station, we love giving back to our community by supporting young athletes in pursuing their dreams. Casey’s dedication to hockey inspires us, and we’re honoured to stand behind him as he takes this next step in his journey.
