With deep sadness, I bid farewell to two more friends who have fallen victim to the toxic drug crisis. This epidemic has claimed too many lives, and I never had the chance to say goodbye. To honor their memory and prevent more tragedies, I propose an annual community memorial to celebrate the lives of our lost loved ones and keep their memory alive.

What's on your mind?
Good morning my fellow addicts!
I am wondering what peoples thoughts are about legalizing controlled substances and treating them as a medication that is prescribe by physicians.
First of all if these substances were prescribed then they would be pharmaceutical grade which means no toxins like the ones that are currently killing people.
Secondly it would mean that people wouldn't have to spend their rent money on these substances because they are used as medication prescribed by physicians. That means there would be far less homelessness.
Thirdly there wouldn't be the need to commit crime in order to purchase these substances because they are treated like medicine used as medicine to treat the disease of addiction. It just seems like a no brainer to me. No more crime no more homelessness and addiction treated for what it is, a disease that requires medication to treat the symptoms of the disease.
Just a thought!

What's on your mind?
Well I've been thinking alot and have been wanting to talk about what it means to have a spiritual awaking. For myself I have suddenly had clarity about our society and the false reality they have been feeding us forever. I'm blown away when I hear people say that addicts are the problem within our communities. We are merely scapegoats to what's really going on in this world. Because we are visible to the public eye and addiction affects people closely when they lose loved ones. The veil has been lifted for myself and I am awakened becoming a beacon of light for those trying to find their way out of the darkness. I've realized that I am exactly where I am supposed to be. I am an addict for a very important reason!
To help other people who are in addiction looking for their way out of the darkness by always acting out of love , kindness and compassion

Hi everyone hope your staying cool and staying cool!! I would like to know if any addicts out there who are actively using would be interested in starting up an Active Addicts Anonymous group in there community. Its a support group that focuses on the individuals who are currently in active addiction and serves as a stepping stone to early recovery. I can email you the materials required to run a meeting and the only requirement for membership is the willingness to help a fellow addict. Please email me at activeaddicts@hotmail.com if interested thank you!

Hello my fellow addicts, those who are currently recovering and those who are currently struggling. I love and care about you all and I am in search of more and more people who are effected by this disease directly or indirectly to join me in standing up and speaking out about the stigma of this disease. If we want things to change and be looked at and handled differently than the current beliefs, then it takes us all! It can be done but only by us the people who have the disease or are effected by this disease in one way or another.
