After many years in healthcare, and almost 10 years specializing in foot care, Iโm incredibly honoured to be joining the AFCN Learning Institute as a Partner Foot Care Nurse Educator.
Helping people has always been at the heart of what I do, and over the years foot care has become something Iโm truly passionate about. Being able to now mentor and support nurses entering the foot care field feels very rewarding and is something Iโm really looking forward to.
Iโm excited for this next chapter โ not only for myself, but for the continued growth of A Step Above - FootCare and the opportunity to help expand quality foot care services in our communities ๐ฃ

Stephanieโs main clinic is located in Campbellford, Ontario, with services extending throughout Northumberland County. She also has a satellite clinic in Brighton, Ontario, a satellite clinic in Peterborough, Ontario, and has just expanded into Cobourg.
In addition to clinic-based care, Stephanie provides mobile foot care visits throughout Northumberland and Peterborough, helping improve access to professional foot care for clients in her community.
Stephanie is an RPN with over 28 years of experience in patient care. Her healthcare journey began as a PSW in 1998, and she has been nursing since 2011. Since 2016, she has specialized in foot care, building a thriving practice focused on preventative care, patient education, and helping patients maintain mobility, independence, and quality of life.
Her dedication to foot care nursing is evident in the way she supports her clients with compassion, professionalism, and evidence-informed care. Stephanieโs approach reflects a strong commitment to prevention, education, and empowering patients to better understand and care for their foot health.
Stephanie is also passionate about mentoring nurses entering the field of foot care. As a Partner Foot Care Nurse Educator, she provides a supportive, hands-on learning environment where students can gain practical experience, build confidence, and develop strong clinical skills in foot care nursing.
We are so excited to have Stephanie joining our growing network of AFCN clinical partners and educators. Her experience, heart for patient care, and passion for teaching will be such a valuable addition to our students and to the communities she serves.
