NRG coffee Company Roasting coffee with you in mind.

When the coffee beans are roasting in the drum you can hear an audible “first crack” when the temperature reaches around 400°F.

We also check the beans in the sample slot to see colour development and to check how the roast process is going.

Is there any part of coffee roasting that you’d like to know more about?

Drink Coffee-stay warm. It’s basically foolproof and makes a delightful cup of coffee. You’re five steps away:

1. Coarse grind some coffee beans
2. Add hot water (just off boil)
3. Bloom for 30 seconds
4. Fill, cover, wait 4 minutes
5. Plunge slowly. Pour. Enjoy.

Coffee connects people across the world—from farmers tending coffee cherries, to communities in producing countries, to the cup you enjoy every morning.

Over the past year, the global coffee market has risen sharply. While we hope these increases lead to better futures for farming families, the reality is that many hands are part of the coffee journey.

To keep supporting farmers, sustaining our team, and continuing to bring you high-quality coffee, we’ll be making a small adjustment to our prices.
Thank you for standing with us, for valuing the story behind each coffee bean, and for being part of this journey.

Gathered Gold is now available!🍂Once again the earth turns golden as everything living prepares for rest. This blend is from the highlands of Kenya + Tanzania and is inspired by the harvest season. The nostalgia of gathering together in golden wheat fields, sharing the garden’s yield, small boys playing beneath leaf confetti, taking a walk in the crisp morning air with a steaming cup of coffee, are a few of our favourite autumnal things… if you care to, share some of yours in the comments

Limited stock so remember to grab yours while it’s available ☕️🍂

Pour-over coffee is delicious because it allows for precise control over brewing, extracting the coffee’s natural flavors and aromas. The slow, even water flow highlights subtle tasting notes, creating a clean, bright, and well-balanced cup that showcases the beans’ unique character.

It’s one of our favourite ways to appreciate a good bean to the fullest!
