What I’ve learned from the past year of acting on my ideas, pitching myself to businesses and collaborating with people I admire is:
You’ll never feel comfortable when you’re creating something from the ground up, so instead of avoiding discomfort you need to start chasing it.
BUT before you can chase discomfort, you need to reprogram your mind and body to feel safe in discomfort. This means getting out of your comfort zone, but not so far away that you spiral into overwhelm or burnout.
➡️ & If you DO get overwhelmed (which you will at some point) having the tools to bring yourself back to calm.
