Another Cool Spiritual Sign. . .

I’m so used to dealing with spiritual activity, already, with what I do, as a Psychic Medium. But I’m just so used to this by now. . .

It was a “You Know What”, don’t say the name. My Dad saw a shapeshifter of some kind that really messed him up, he was spooked. And he was very, very about facts, which is why it spooked him.

We were travelling back home to High Level from a road trip to Edmonton, after a really long US road trip, really really late at night, and we were all sleeping while he was driving, old country music in the background. But I was going in and out, and could feel my Dad slowing down, and speeding up, and sometimes stopping, and I could hear him muttering “what is THAT?”, “what the heck is that?”, while looking in the rearview mirror. We’re in the middle of nowhere, just past Manning, in pitch black darkness besides the headlights. Everyone else was dead asleep.

And so I climbed to the front and was like “what’s going on?”. My Dad, when he was stressed, you could feel his heart beating out of his chest, because he was always trying so hard to act calm and matter of fact.

And he was like “there’s a wolf acting strange. It was in the middle of the road, and so I stopped, and it just turned right at me in the headlights and stared, like it was challenging me. It didn’t look like a normal wolf, it was way bigger”. And my family knew I was already heavily involved in the spiritual stuff, so anytime he had a weird possible supernatural experience, he would tell me.

“And then it walked around the van to the side, and I just took off, but then I slowed down enough to still see what it was doing, and it was behind us in the light of the taillights, and started acting challenging again. It started sticking its chest out and digging its front paws in, and curling its lips and showing its teeth. And then it started to stand up, and it was big, and looked like it was trying to walk on legs like a person.” Telling me that part visibly shook him.

“It started at the van again and I took off, but anytime I slowed down to see if it was still around, it would reappear in the taillights coming at us. There’s no way it could have caught up that fast”.

And now we are stopped again, and he’s looking in the rearview mirror to see it. And I see this big “wolf”, like stalking us, running up to the van, I swear to Goddess this thing looked like it was smiling, and my Dad just took off.

I think my mom or somebody else briefly woke up, too, at some point, but I don’t totally remember.

Crazy stuff! Some of the cryptid stories are about a real thing, but some stories are obvious hoaxes. These stories, I think theres something .

And keep in mind that there are spirits who just enjoy messing with people, and will take on a form that they know humans make scary stories about. . .

Children haven’t been socialized to ignore their psychic abilities and so are very open to spirit communication.

In 2000, a woman named Jodi Foster moved with her young daughter Hannah into a small apartment in Chico, California. (Definitely not that Jodie Foster, though what unfolded next could’ve come straight from one of her films.) Not long after they settled in, Hannah started talking about someone she called “My Liz.” She mentioned her like an imaginary friend, but Jodi began noticing strange things happening around the apartment lights flickering, odd noises and dreams that felt more like visions. When she finally looked into the building’s history, she found something interesting. In 1976, a young woman named Marie Elizabeth Spannhake, known as "Marliz", had gone missing after accepting a ride home along Mangrove Avenue.

And get this, Marliz Spannhake had also apparently lived in Apartment 14. The same unit Jodi shared with her daughter.

Finding that connection only raised more questions. And there’s a whole other part of the story which I’ll leave for anyone who decides to watch it. Later, during another California investigation, Janice Ho**er (the wife of the man later sent away for the in the Girl in the Box case) claimed before they picked up Colleen Stan, Janice and her husband Cameron had picked up another woman in Chico. Her name, she said, was Marliz Spannhake. Authorities were never able to locate her or verify the full account, so that part of Janice’s story never reached court. Cameron Ho**er was eventually imprisoned in connection with the other case, but no one was ever charged in Marliz’s disappearance. Years later, when Jodi contacted Chico police to share what she and Hannah had experienced in Apartment 14, detectives were surprised saying many of the details she mentioned matched information from the original 1976 investigation that had never been made public.
