Jessica Blacklock, RMT
Hey everyone and welcome,
Let me introduce myself, my name is Jessica and I am a registered massage therapist. I graduated from the Professional Institute of Massage Therapy in Calgary in 2017. During my required 2200 hrs of school I collected well-informed knowledge of anatomy, neurology and a wide array of Swedish and relaxation massage techniques.
Soon after receiving my diploma we were getting home sick, so my family and I decided to move back home to New Brunswick. I passed the provincial exam and became a registered massage therapist in 2018. I learned that there was a demand for massage therapists in our area so I decided to start the process to open my own massage therapy business, to be able to provide my area and near by communities with an alternative health care option for pain and healing.
My mission is to provide therapeutic and relaxation massage in a relaxing, clean and caring environment. I will develop a personalized message treatment plan that will benefit each individual client for what best suites their reason for massage. Having a tailored treatment plan reduces the time that is required to heal and it makes the experience an enjoyable one. To do so I will collect your health history and important information regarding your overall health by doing an initial assessment as well as ongoing feedback during the treatment. ALL INFORMATION IS KEPT CONFIDENTIAL, unless otherwise specified. The purpose of a treatment plan is so myself and the client can track the progress made throughout the ongoing sessions and to make sure there are no safety concerns for the client and/our myself.
