Localisé à Castlegar, Les Roudoudous a été fondé dans le but d'offrir un environnement sain et chaleureux aux enfants de 2 ans à 5 ans, leur permettant d'apprendre et de jouer en français et ce, dans un environnement familial. Ainsi cela pourra donc les préparer à l'entrée scolaire en maternelle dans une école francophone ou d'immersion française ayant déjà des connaissances et rendre leur intégration plus facile. Located in Castlegar, "Les Roudoudous" is a fully registered daycare offering a warm and healthy environment to children aged 2 to 5 years old. We welcome children who speak French and English and hope to ease them smootly into French Immerson Kindergaten or fully French school.

Dear city of Castlegar,

Over the past months, I’ve worked closely and transparently with the City of Castlegar building inspector Jake Postnikoff to ensure full compliance in transforming the former Old Baptist Church into a licensed childcare facility. After meeting with the Building Inspector and Licensing Officer in March 26, 2025, I received confirmation that the building met the necessary requirements for a daycare, with only minor upgrades needed. All work was completed as approved, and on July 2nd, I was granted both my business license and occupancy permit for 419 7th Avenue, with a capacity of 30 occupants. The conditions outlined for the lower level were completed in September 11, 2025, and communication with the City followed to update the license accordingly. Despite this, the City has now revoked access to an already approved space, a decision that is not only unjustified but also jeopardizes my business, , the families depending on this childcare service, and all those who invested in this project as well as putting a massive financial loss on myself and the building owners.

I am publicly calling for fairness, accountability, and immediate resolution from the City of Castlegar.
