Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Parkdale Sherwood Lions Club Bingo welcomes you this March 17th for St Paddy's Day Bingo. To celebrate this event, we will be doing a $100 Gift Card giveaway and four $25 Gift Card giveaways.

But the gifts keep coming as we will also be handing out Bingo Bucks to those dressed in green and free dabbers.

Huge thanks to The Guardian for helping share the exciting news — the Sherwood Playground Fundraiser has received a $187,000 Humanitarian Grant from Lions Clubs International Foundation!
This incredible achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the vision and leadership of our own Paul Gauthier, LCIF District Coordinator, who inspired the project team to think BIG. We’re honoured to support this inclusive playground, which will bring joy and accessibility to Sherwood students for years to come.

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that the Sherwood Playground Fundraiser has been awarded the Lions Club International Foundation Humanitarian Grant — providing $187,000 CAD towards our inclusive playground project! 🎉

When we first approached the Parkdale Sherwood Lion’s Club last fall, Paul Gauthier, LCIF District Co-ordinator, encouraged us to dream bigger than BBQs, dances, and pancake breakfasts. Thanks to his vision and leadership, this incredible grant became a reality. We are beyond grateful for Paul’s dedication and the Lions’ commitment to making this playground possible.

So, what does this mean for students?
➡️ More inclusive play options coming October 2025!
➡️ The major inclusive playground structure installed Spring 2025!

And here’s the best part: because this is a matching grant, every dollar you gave brought us that much closer to our goal.
