DETOX// ok guys, this picture is super cheesy (guilty) but there is some meaning behind it and detox! One of the single best ways to detox is through movement... yes... MOVEMENT. If your not moving and increasing circulation to those 4 detox organs we spoke about previously, your not detoxing. The single best way to increase circulation is through getting those muscles moving.

Heres the nerdy physiology behind it: the faster and harder your heart contracts (because your moving), the more blood flow your tissues will receive from your arteries. Not only that but muscles are the primary movers of venous return. What is this you ask? Once the oxygenate blood has done its job it enters the venous system. But in this system the heart is not really involved. The only way to get that blood back is through your muscles compressing your veins and the blood in them upward, back towards the heart. The more you move better this system system works! Allowing delivery of Nutrients and removal of toxins to happen more effectively.

Another added bonus to movement is it makes you sweat more, and as we have leaned your skin is one of your main detox organs! It has many of the same enzymes used by your liver to detox. That’s why if your liver isn’t working right you may find you will have more skin issues because the skin is making up for the livers inefficiency 🤓
