Post-separation abuse is a global reality and it affects women across all demographics, professions, income levels, and educational backgrounds.

No one is “too educated,” “too accomplished,” or “too stable” to be targeted. These patterns are systemic, not individual failures.

And too often, our legal, educational, and mental health systems are not equipped to recognize these dynamics or respond with the protection women and children need.

Here in British Columbia, is one of the few organizations consistently standing in this gap. Their legal advocacy, education, and frontline support make a tangible difference for families navigating complex post-separation legal realities.

If you’re able to support their work, this is a meaningful time: every donation is doubled until December 10. Link to donair in bio 👆🏽

Sharing their work helps extend their reach.

Comments are off to keep this space focused on awareness and advocacy.

Fascinating learning session in my district today with Rebecca Bultsma on “AI in Education”. So much to think about in how technology is shaping the way we teach and learn.

One quote that really resonated with me:

💭”In the past, jobs were about muscles. Now they’re about brains, but in the future, they’ll be about the heart.”– Minouche Shafik

Such a nice reminder that while AI is powerful, our empathy, creativity, and human connection will always matter most. ❤️

🗣️ Today is Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) Awareness Day, and this year’s theme is “Speak Up for DLD!” 🌍✨

DLD is a hidden but common condition that affects 1 in 14 people, impacting their ability to understand and use language. Many people with DLD struggle daily to communicate, yet it often goes unrecognized.

To learn more about DLD and hear from those who live with it, go to www.radld.org and check out the new 2024 videos on the RADLD YouTube channel https://youtube.com/playlist?
