Birth Fee: $600-750

Postpartum Rate: $28-38/hr depending on mileage

Fee Details: Presently I am at home with my 18 month old son and three year old daughter. My daughter's birth was an induced and highly medical experience while my son's birth was an incredible home-birth. As a doula I have attended nine births. With my experience, I offer confidence, support and many comfort techniques that are sure to be of value and appreciated by both the labouring mother and her partner. Being a positive presence at a birth is both a passion and a pleasure of mine; it is also an honour and a space that I strive to respect. As a postpartum doula I assist with the care of your newborn and other children, do light housework (clean kitchen, clean floors, tidy your main living space and do mom's and baby's laundry), do food prep, bake and make meals. In addition, upon request and prior arrangement, I will also grocery shop and run errands. While I may have limited experience while under the specific postpartum label, I have many years of experience as a Supportive Care Provider and as a Nanny, both of which type of care and trust falls under the same type of work as a Postpartum Doula. With this experience I'm excited to offer assistance to families through the transition of the newborn stage.
