Some seasons are about healing.
Some are about building capacity.
For me, this season is about standing in my work.

Sister Science's Mastermind Monday is for wellness professionals who are ready to take their work to the next level. To watch their gifts create a healing ripple into a world in need.

This is not a co-working or networking group. It is a collective of people ready to connect into their superpower and use it for good, together.

It’s not for finding yourself, if you’re still laying foundations - building capacity (ojas), finding your passion (tejas), and trusting your life force energy (prana) then the Year of YOU is the right place to begin.

Feels like a bowl of soup kinda day.

Remember when I said I don't like the kitchen? Yeah, well letting go of that story feels important. Making a pot of soup then sharing it over my kitchen island while we get caught up on all that we've missed in each others lives over the last few weeks feels like it would be the perfect way to spend the day.

Literally and Metaphorically, I want to catch up over soup with so many people. I am curious how your holidays were, what it is feeling like as you step into 2026, what feels strong, and what feels flat. I want to hear the whispers you hear of your inner wisdom and the power you feel behind those sensations. I want to hear about how freaking scared you are to step toward it, but how awkward and ill-fitting not-stepping forward feels.

I want to hear how you feel the energy changing, the way your dreams are different, the simple thing you did to listen to yourself and the way it healed something big and physical and how crazy that was.

The conversation will be deep and meaningful and the kind of conversation we could only have with each other because everyone else would think we are crazy.

Maybe this is how we reclaiming that wisdom and power, in our kitchens, over a bowl of soup.

It can't always be a pot of soup, sometimes it is a Yoga class, Zoom call, walk through the dog park, or a podcast recording or a Sister Science course call - but it is always solid connection - deep, real, vulnerable, honest, powerful and wise.

Thank you, from my kitchen to yours .
Happy New Year

We can write off these rituals, as just a fun evening out. But they hold power. A frequency, an energy, a vibration. The more we learn to feel, listen and live at this vibration the more magical life becomes.

I feel like I have lost lots of rituals over the years, and replacing them with something meaningful has felt very "woo woo". But god that woo woo has brought me such contentment, compassion, trust... that I am going all in. So this year join the ritual.

It is important work. It would be a privilege to have you join us.

When ever we gather, with intention - knowing our purpose, we bring healing to ourselves and this world.

Margaret Mead said "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."

Indeed, it is the only that ever has.

If you know me, you know that I believe, deep in my core that we must reclaim our innate wisdom. We must insource all the decisions we have been taught to oursource. We must believe ourselves and our intuitive Sister Science as much as we credit and follow Mr. Science. When we shine our light, we are the change this world needs, and each time we come together, we create a ripple.

Be the change,
Feel the ripple,
Join us at FOUND Bookshop Monday, Dec 29th at 7pm.

Lets digest 2025 and be clear, very clear, about what we will invite into 2026.

Vision Boards have been an annual event at our house for years. My girls and I make them, and sometimes can convince the boys to join us. I am extra stocked up on bike magazines this year to try to entice them to join.

When Nicole packed off to Scotland last year I remember her trying to fit this into the very selective stuff that could be packed and taken with her.

Some years I am astounded by what comes of them.... One year I had an Aloe Plant in a terra cotta pot, and Emma & I ended up in Aruba at Rachel Brathen's Yoga Studio decorated with Aloe in Terra Cotta pots. One year I had a mobile with a map on it - and I eneded up travelling to my sis in the UK to visit baby #3. Writing "Every Story is a Sister Science Story" led to a podcast.

They can be thought of as trivial. Or they can be seen as intentional time spent visioning your future and the way you want it to.be. I hang mine where I see it while lying in the bathtub.

You will need a stack of good magazines.
Poster Board, Glue, Scissors, huge surfaces to make a mess with piles of little pictures and words before you design your page. It is more fun together, so find some friends.

Take it seriously, do some deep breaths and set intention for your time. Connect to your own deep wisdom, collect what ever you are drawn to without questioning it. This is not a stuff I want to buy board. It is a how I want to live board.

Enjoy.

Awe inspires the wish to let shine. Wonder inspires the wish to understand. Reading Brene Brown's Atlas of the Heart week by week with a Awe-inspiring Corhort of Women.

This is what we've read:

"Awe leads people to cooperate, share resources and sacrifice for others. and causes them to fully appreciate the value of others and see themselves more acccurately, evoking humility."

"Awe-inducing events may be one of the fastest and most powerful methods of personal change and growth."

May your day be slow enough to let you capture, for just a moment, the awe.

The smile on a grandparent's face.
The sparkle of the sunbeam across the kitchen.
The song or smell that takes you back to a memory and fills you with emotion.
The hug held just a moment longer

From our home to yours.
Wishing you Awe and Wonder.

xoxo

Gosh, a photo made me cry this morning. I was sending this “family” photo to my uncle, it’s one we took the day we gathered a week after Dad passed away. It’s not complete…. Jennifer’s family isn’t there from England. two of my dad’s siblings weren’t there. We were missing all the aunts and uncles and cousins. And of course- Dad.

Sometimes you can judge the love a family has by a complete family photo. But in our case- you can’t. We are renowned for always missing someone. My grandma did an excellent job of adding my Uncle Mike to complete a family pic back in the early 80’s. Finding the right size head from another photo, and carefully gluing it in. Iconic!

The last pics we have our full family, Jennifer’s youngest Mabel wasn’t born. And since then we always seem to be missing one of my grown kids.

And now, we will always be missing my Dad.

The circle of life. ❤️

So, love each other when you can. In however the moments come together, our incomplete family pics always show love. In this pic it was family who arrived from 2 provinces and 3 countries in 6 days to share our love and grief. It’s a snapshot, of a day, in a photo album filled with so many other snapshots. Each one, taken to catch a moment of love and connection.

I’m not good a taking pictures, but I appreciate the ones who make them happen.

Hope your snapshot of this holiday season is filled with love.

On November 2, 2024 we launched Sister Science Stories. A podcast meant to help us decode and understand the way the Sister Sciences helps us heal. We know the ways that Mr. Sciences offer us support but we need to give equal respect to the Sisters.

That is hard to do in a world where women were burned at the stake for their wisdom. Hard to do in world where "evidence based medicine" doesn't mean the evidence you feel in your own body when you do something.

Sister Science is a dharma project for me. It is a way to download the wisdom, connect to the feminine energies, and be a conduit for ideas that have long been dangerous, denied and rejected, maligned and smeared, and simply laughed at.

We are reclaiming these ideas, because not only do they matter, but there are our way of bringing balance back into a world severely tipped right now.

Give Sister Science Stories at listen at SisterScience.ca or where ever you find your podcasts - subscribe, leave reviews, share episodes with a friend, beat the algorithym - do all the things that can help us spread this work.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. It is a work of love and purpose I am privileged to share.

21/12/2025

The winter solstice. It is THE PERFECT day to take an hour and Reflect back on 2025.

Especially if you aren't able to make it to our Live Evening at FOUND on Dec 29th.

This recording takes you through a meditation of the past 12 months and gives you time to extract the lessons, turning points, milestones and blessings. We get to see the challenges, the old patterns and then take a deep breath, thank them and leave them behind.

Using our Keen Discernment (Viveka) we invite forward what brought you growth this year.

It is a necessary part of digesting the year we've just had, and bringing clarity around what we want 2026 to be.

If you are curious about the live version of this ritual, see SisterScience.ca for details.

It is the Solstice, the return of the light. A step toward seeing the full picture, knowing truth. Support your light.

Know it.
Listen to it.
Trust and follow it.

If you don't know how to do that, Sister Science is here for you.

Deciding to listen to YOU is the first essential step.
We can hold your hand after that.

These meditations aren't about Christmas, they don't need to be practiced on certain days. They are you first step. A daily decision to connect to YOU, and the wisdom wrapped up in you, the light meant to shine from you.

Feeling stuck is something we can all relate to.

We think we need to pull, override and power ourselves through, and that gets us more stuck - the resistance and pull sucking us back.

In this episode of Sister Science Stories, Chelsey Beda and I explore how Physics and Yoga advise us. To move with awareness, gentleness, and working with resistance instead of against it.

If you’ve been feeling stuck, numb, overwhelmed, or quietly exhausted by the pace of the world, this conversation is for you.
