At Ebb & Flow Doula and Healing, I cherish each transition of life. Whether it's helping a family preparing to welcome a beautiful new baby to the world or preparing to say their goodbyes to a loved one, both of those transitions are as equally important and in one way or another, just as beautiful of a moment as the other if you let it. Celebrating both a new life and a life lived till the end.
Birth:
As a Birth Doula, I will guide and prepare you for the arrival of your new little one. With constant support, a calm and positive presence to guide you through your final weeks of pregnancy, through your labor and delivery and into and throughout your first 8 weeks postpartum. Aside from my own experiences with birth, I also have supported friends and family through their birth experiences and decided to take the leap and make it official by becoming a Doula. I have completed all the course material and am currently working on the certification requirements through Doula School Canada to become a certified Birth Doula.
Death:
As an End of life Doula, I will hold space in those hard times. I can be what you need me to be in that space, whether you are looking for someone to help with respite care, companionship, advanced care planning or assistance with just opening the conversation around death or if you are looking for more of the spiritual ritualistic support, focusing more on the souls journey of death and dying. I have completed training as an End of Life Doula through Douglas College and currently receiving training as a Sacred Death Guide with Sarah Kerr.
Healing:
As a Reiki practitioner, I have a deep seeded belief in energy. We come from energy, we are energy and what we put out is energy. I bring Reiki and energy healing into everything I do. I am conscious of what energies are in a space and what energies can do to a space and those who are in them. No matter what space I am in, I will always enter and hold a calm, positive, supportive and heart felt energy for myself and others that is safe and welcoming.
I also offer Reiki as a stand alone outside of my Doula Services. I am attuned to Master Reiki Practitioner and offer both in person and distance Reiki.
