Continuing education is something I truly value and I’ve just completed Lymphatic Drainage Therapy Level 1 with the Chikly Health Institute, an evidence-based program that focuses on precise, gentle manual techniques to assess and stimulate the lymphatic system!
The lymphatic system plays a crucial role in maintaining fluid balance, removing metabolic waste and supporting immune function. When this system becomes sluggish or congested - whether from surgery, injury, illness or stress - it can lead to swelling, tissue inflammation and fatigue.
Lymphatic Drainage Therapy (LDT) uses light, rhythmic touch to encourage the natural flow of lymph throughout the body. This technique has been proven to help with:

💧 Reduce edema and fluid retention
💧 Support post-surgical and post-injury recovery
💧 Enhance immune response
💧 Promote relaxation and tissue health
💧 Aid in detoxification and metabolic balance

Unlike traditional massage, LDT works mostly at a very superficial level, targeting the delicate network of lymph vessels located just beneath the skin. Treatments are deeply relaxing while encouraging optimal physiological function.

I’m happy to share that I have successfully completed a professional cupping therapy course and am now certified to offer cupping as part of my massage therapy services.
Cupping can help relieve muscle tension, improve circulation, and support relaxation and recovery. It’s a wonderful complement to traditional massage, and I’m excited to bring this new technique to my clients.

My name is Jenny Nordheim, and I’m so happy to share that I’ve opened my home-based massage practice right here in Cochrane! 💚
A little bit about me: I’m originally from Germany and moved to Cochrane about 3 years ago. I’ve completely fallen in love with this beautiful community and the mountains nearby. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me outside - hiking, exploring, or just soaking up nature.
In my massage practice, I offer a calm, welcoming space where you can relax, recharge, and feel taken care of. Whether you need stress relief, therapeutic support, or a deep tissue reset, I’m here to help you feel your best.
I do direct billing with all insurance companies and I also accept cash, etransfer, credit and debit!
I’m also passionate about continuing to grow in my field. I’m currently expanding my knowledge through several specialized courses, and I’ll be updating this page with new services as soon as they’re completed - so stay tuned! 🌟
